Are we assuming this game (and all the final League 2 games) kicks off at 3pm? The last couple of seasons they've all been moved to a 12:30 start (I know last season was a strange one due to the coronation bank holiday). Maybe the clubs are waiting for a final decision on kick off time before making ticketing arrangements. Don't all fixtures on the final day have to kick off at the same time? They might all get moved to 12.30 mind.

Don't all fixtures on the final day have to kick off at the same time? Yes, and Sky showed both ourselves and Northampton games last season on their different channels - very hard to see a scenario where this isn't 1 of the 2 games shown. (and they also show multiple Championship via Red Button some midweeks)

A source at EFL tells me League One will be 12:30 and League Two is staying at 3pm on the Saturday.
Could change if Sky get involved but think their preference is the tight League One promotion & relegation scenarios which are both close, and there is a full Premier League fixture list that weekend so they will have Saturday evening & Sunday games running too at usual times.

Having had far more L2 games on Sky throughout the season than last year, I think they'll want to show some of the final day L2 games as well as L1 especially with the added national interest in Wrexham this season

Good shout / info, as League 2 was 3pm on the Saturday 2 years ago when Bristol pulled off the 7-1 result, so maybe it's not always automatically televised (last year an exception due to the Coronation).

I don't think i've ever been to Wrexham & not encountered some kind of trouble, it's always been one of those places where trouble isn't far away. I've not been for our last few visits due to ticket scarcity. My last visit was the 2-1 win under Jimbo in the NL (2019?) To be fair to the police that day ran a pretty tight operation pre-match without being overly aggressive, they were pretty amiable to be fair. They picked about 100 of us up who had arrived early doors at 10 am & kept us in a pub on Wrexham high st. They dispersed a few Wrexham who came for a look & allowed us to drink in there until about 2.30 before marching us to the ground, I remember there being a fence across the road as we got to the ground which kept the baying Welsh hoards at bay & everyone got in the ground without incident. After the game was the complete opposite, waiting for the coaches & mini buses behind the away section entrance there didn't seem to be a copper in sight & Wrexham were popping up out of bushes & trying to have a pop, I'd nipped to the Sainsbury's to get some cigs & came back to find my mate having a comical exchange with a couple of scruffy oiks who'd emerged from the undergrowth to offer him out to which he'd coolly replied 'why don't you just f@%k off back to Liverpool' this seemed to stop them in their tracks as they stood there protesting their Welshness Luckily a few police eventually arrived followed by our mini bus & we got out of there unscathed. It's not a pleasant place & I dread to think what it'll be like if either side needs something in that last game & misses out. I do seem to recall some comedy at the train station one year, we saw some Chester lads as we were about to get off, next thing they start rolling around the Platform with a few Wrexham, we had initially thought they were there to greet us 🤣 We've always opted to have a drink or 2 in Chester both pre and post match. Much more civilised and friendly.

There's a train at 2:20 getting into Wrexham station at 2:35. Mind you if that's not running the number 1 bus from Chester Station runs every 15 minutes but takes 45 minutes and goes to Wrexham Bus Station which is half a mile away (about a 10 minute walk from the ground).

If its a 3pm one for us then sky cannot broadcast it. It will be a big pity if they cannot televise this game if something really depends on the result as i,m sure it will be a sell out. Being broadcastd live would help in this and keeping more away from the ground who have not got tickets. If its viewing figures they are after then surely this could get the highest figure for a league 2 televised game.

Hopefully that confirmation means we're going to hear about tickets imminently.

Was about £22 between 5 of us. Well worth it, as the platforms were rammed.
