Had a thought the other day; if we win the title and Wrexham win promotion on that final day, what the f*ck happens? Wrexham fans will be on the pitch celebrating promotion and won't want to be rushed off from having their moment, but at the same time we deserve our moment lifting the trophy too. Couple that with the likelihood of many of the Wrexham fans not wanting us to have our moment on their ground and overshadow it; could be quite a difficult situation to manage. we wouldn't be allowed on the pitch. I think if we were at one of the stands behind the goal then maybe but anyway doing it at Wrexham would look dreadful. Only the bottom tier would be able to do it and that must only hold 350-400 and not everyone of them will want to be on the pitch. Hopefully have it done by one of the home games or Notts County if it were to be an away game I never suggested we as fans would be on the pitch, but our players deserve their moment lifting the trophy at the end of the game they won it in.

On top of that if you forget both teams ownership which on the surface is very different but both have had money thrown at the job we actually should have more in common with many wrexham fans than we have with many of the other sides in this division. Both sides have had dark days that they,d rather forget and have the long term wrexham fan asked for their circus. Its just they have more new age fans than we have and the real lack of other clubs in there area must be a good reason for this. I’ve long banged on about having a lot in common with, and sympathy for, the long suffering Wrexham fan, and have a lot of time for them. It’s the Ryan Reynolds fans I can’t stand. Still remember a West Ham fan saying to me he “supported Wrexham now” just because he’d taken over. Before the documentary was even out. Even a family living on anglesea i know have suddenly gone wrexham mad where between em both they have only seen two live games and never watch any sport on the box. Know the fact of them being a welsh team might go a little towards this but not for all of it. Just wonder if its the younger generation that have bought into the club as i,m sure i wasn,t the only oldie who had never heard of ryan reynolds before he came to the club.

Will this be televised, streamed, carrier pigeoned?
Sorry for the Marsden but I can’t be arsed looking back through the thread.

Hollywood ending? notice they've now delayed their latest Disney+ series by a couple of weeks...probably give themselves a bit more time to edit what games they will show, and which ones they will gloss over. From a purely narrative perspective they absolutely have to show them getting battered at EP. Challenges, failures, travails that you rise from the ashes of are pretty key elements of the hero's journey. I'd have thought so. It was sort of the turning point of their season and the point they realised it wouldn't be as easy as the NL. I'd be surprised if it was totally glossed over.

Will this be televised, streamed, carrier pigeoned? A tweet from Liam (Media Man) was posted saying Sky can televise 3pm on last day of the season (which I assume means it will be either Sky or Stream - in the UK).

I heard a play-by-play account will be tattooed on the backs of a succession of “diehard” American fans, and then people will have to pay a subscription to see it.

God I hope we smash this lot like we did at EP earlier in the year.
Putting them in their place and showing them what a championship winning team looks like would be a perfect way to cap off our time in League Two.
