A Very Good Morning, Very Happy Hatters ! Memories and Emotions are coming to a head today, and how fortunate we all are to have such a fantastic achievement to celebrate together! Still pinching myself that we’re actually going to receive a LEAGUE CHAMPIONS TROPHY
(My only hope is to just keep repeating those words to myself) Enjoy every moment everyone ! BTW If anyone is lucky enough during such a hectic day to come across Freddie Goodwin, give him a big thumbs up!

Even 6-0 with Wootton first goal is 180/1. For all six I’d want about 8000/1. Stick another 0 on it, and I might be tempted at a shilling each way.

Bloody hell. Missing out on the action today due to an unmissable family engagement- will be in a Sailing Club on the Wirral of all places as the trophy is lifted. Not likely to get much on here for updates so just popping on to say have a bloody amazing day everyone- can't wait to be back in SK3 for that open-topped bus!

Good Morning Hatters - Enjoy your day wherever you are. I am hoping to have all my things done in time to settle in and watch another victory at Fortress Edgeley and the presentation of the League Two Champions Trophy. Hopefully we play well, as I think that will ass to this special day 4-0 Wootton Paddy Barry Powell

Have the club got hold of any surviving player from 66/67 season to help pick up the trophy Youngest would be late 70s. A bit late but what a roar and not a dry eye in the house. To me it would sum up the continuity the hope and the pleasure ( and pain) of English football at our level Never too late.

Have just seen on Twitter that the 2-0 defeat at Chorley, when we were all convinced we’d blown it, was 5 years ago today. That is a heck of a journey. Enjoy it today County fans 💙 The memory of Warby missing the open net just sent a shiver down my spine

is it true that we also won the league v Notts County in that year too? If so, then i'm putting a quid on a 4-5 defeat tomorrow. I thought it was against Wrexham? Just checked and it was Wrexham with a 2-2 away draw on 29th April (date is on the Retro Champions shirt I've got) after drawing 2-2 away against Notts Co. on the 26th. Incidentally the only other home defeat was against Brentford who did the double over us. Also remember the Southport home game (att. over 13000, 1-0) when I missed our winning goal when just having got a tea in the Railway End, got it knocked over just before we scored. Don't think history will repeat itself with a home defeat as champions and we'll win 3-1 today with Woots scoring at last. Go Go Go County

Enjoy the game everyone in attendance. I shall be watching from home whilst my 8 month pregnant daughter and Son in Law will be representing the Mayers clan at the match. What a great day for this club of ours. Drink it in guys...

Barry starts! Suspected that lineup: same 18 with Barry in for Powell. Hopefully 4-4-2 diamond with Paddy at 10.

Happy but surprised at Louie starting today.
Just want a great atmosphere and a high game tempo to match each other as a final send off this season.

9-0 Barry 3 Paddy 3 Woots 3 5000 on the pitch. Whilst we should win at a canter, 7-1 on Accy to win is worth a little flutter for those of a gambling persuasion.
