I got a physical ticket for this. Is that also null and void? Probably best contacting the ticket office tbh. Whole thing is a bit of a nightmare.

I got a physical ticket for this. Is that also null and void? Good question... when I've got a physical ticket recently (moving and booking additional seats to my STs), I think the ticket staff effectively did an online booking on my behalf (to avoid double booking...) then printed the physical tickets. No idea how that will work as they won't have contact details for people. Maybe those tickets have been prioritised and haven't been moved if affected. But - unhelpfully - contact the club.

I have now received an email with a new ticket for the extra I bought, and it's in the same seat as I originally chose.
Good that it looks on the way to being sorted, but imagine there'll be a fair few peeved fans. Not great.

Asked yesterday and they said that they are remaining off sale while they investigate. Major balls up for what could be the defining game of the season. Hopefully the final nail in the coffin for Future Ticketing. I don’t have any knowledge but it must be a possibility that is operator error and not a defect of the ticketing system. Even if it is a new ticketing system is still needed

Trying not to be a slapped arse about this, I’ll probably still be able to get a Railway End ticket as long as I stay up to date about when they go back on sale. But it’s pretty bloody poor. You’ve every right to be a slapped arse about it, the system is an absolute disgrace. How hard can it be FFS?

Will be trying tomorrow it's closed until Friday but in the post they put on twitter yesterday they said to phone them. If you prefer going down like I do then you will have to wait until Friday but Friday will be busy with people picking up tickets for up coming away games and then Accrington and whatever else they've bought

Called to amend my new seats but told they can't amend until they go back on open sale... crazy that. Could be sold out by the time I call and wouldn't be able to swap!

You’ve every right to be a slapped arse about it, the system is an absolute disgrace. How hard can it be FFS? It’s more that being angry about it won’t change anything. It’s a mark of how crap the ticketing has been that I’ve gone past anger in the stages of coping, and am now trying to reach zen! It IS crap though. For a number of reasons, I can’t get to enough home games for a season ticket to be worth it, so for the foreseeable future I’m going to be at the mercy of competing with people in United gear to get into the ground, even though I’m a former ST holder and fan of 30+ years standing. I know there’s no way for a system to account for that, and I welcome the higher crowds and growth of the club as we develop. If the ticketing system can work well, that’s not an issue. As it is, it’s stressful and rubbish.

Without meaning to hijack the thread and turn it into City content… seems even a club at their peak can’t get ticketing right!
