Right, I've managed to go a week on here without mentioning shirts. What are your top 3 County shirts/kits? I'm going for, in no particular order: Mainly for the memories of that night and how long it took to get hold of it. This would be a close fourth:

The one in my avatar has big sentimental value (photo is from google and mine is just a normal replica) also just for the sheer terribleness of it. Shame I was 12 and it doesn't fit anymore.

I only have two replicas from the 90s left, the yellow away Adidas I think and the home one with the white body and the part stripes all others were trashed by an Ex Attachment Deleted

This one was the first County shirt I purchased. Great sentimental value. I don't think I will ever part with it.

Shame they got trashed

yep trashed by ex, she cut up my suites ripped shirts up and pulled all the tape out of my county video collection. Always make sure if things are turning sour in a relationship that you get any County memorabilia well out of it

My 3 favourite County kits are as follows:
1. Royal Blue shirts with white candy stripe (1970-71, Sammy McMillan, Ian Lawther etc.)
2. Royal Blue and white stripes shirts with white sleeves, white shorts and red socks (1980's, Dean Emerson, Mickey Quinn etc.)
3. The promotion kit from '91 - white with royal blue and Gordon Ford sponsor.

3. The promotion kit from '91 - white with royal blue and Gordon Ford sponsor. This one? That was the shirt Thorpe wore against Scunthorpe in the 5-0 game .

With regard to the early 70's candy striped shirt, I don't think I've ever seen one since we changed our kit in '73. Surely, someone somewhere must still have one even though it'd be over 40 years old!! I don't even know who the kit manufacturers were, although I think they also manufactured Palace's kit around that time as they wore a maroon shirt with sky blue candystripe IIRC.

Probably Umbro or Bukta. They didn't start putting manufacturers logos on shirts until a few years later.

I certainly haven't got one. The earliest I've got is the same as this from 1964: The other oldest ones are a Bukta one from 1977/78, I think, and the original Argentina one from 1979/80.

Proper striped football shirt, with stripes on the back as well as the front, unlike that fiasco of an away shirt this year. We were promised a "classic" County shirt by Mr Brennan - what we got is far from it

Although it was a truly awful season, the Stockport Council sponsored Nike shirt that we got relegated from League 2 in is one of my favourites. Terrible memories, but a nice shirt.
