Noticed in NL Paper that Countys attendance 2,710 yesterday was the highest in ALL the 3 non leagues ie: SP,SN and SS leagues by at least a thousand .well done to all who went saturday.not only did you see a great game you also saw a great win against one of the favourites. nice to see Turner continue his scoring run and Dennis scoring a bonus as it will give him a lot of confidence and i bet he will now go on a scoring run. Surprised Charnock and Tunnicliffe scoring, need to get others adding to the goal tally. Roll on Oxford, hope we don't come down with a bump in that game.nice to see us creating chances, yesterday we put them away.

We really deserve much better. With a bit of good form, a sense of progress, direction and hope, we would be getting a lot more.

I assume that teams such as Luton, Wrexham, were playing away from home then?

Yep. Luton, Wrexham and Grimsby were all away.

Even if they were away it's still a cracking achievement.

If we were all in a similar position only Luton would attract more than us, if we'd started this season well we'd be getting more than Wrexham and Grimsby a division below them or not.

Even if they were away it's still a cracking achievement. True, and if things improve there's no reason we can't start topping the 3,000 mark again.

If we were up towards the top I don't think getting a 4000+ average would be out of the question.
I think under Lord the crowds will slowly increase. We appear to be playing much more attractive, attacking football.

Much of the improvements we've seen have similarities to when Gannon returned.

I know this is very premature but IF Lord can get us back in to the Football League where would he be ranked among our list of managers?
For me it would have to be above Gannon.

I said yesterday he seems similar to Meadows and Matthias perhaps a little more emotionally involved than either of them. Still very early to say and he will be judged by results long term. My guess is that with luck he will be just below Danny and Dave Jones but well above Gary Megson, Andy Kilner,Jim, Asa and Carlton. If he gets us into league in three seasons he may be regarded as the best

Our home attendances are fantastic considering how awful we have been. A lot of teams must be very envious.

Much of the improvements we've seen have similarities to when Gannon returned. That's because he knows what he's doing. if the idiots back him properly we will continue to progress unlike last season when the idiots didn't back the manager (unless you count agreeing to get rid of the social loafers as backing lol) eventually sacked him and got us relegated AGAIN!
