Yes, at reserve level looks an exciting prospect, quick and sharp. Not sure he will cut it at Macclesfield's level, but worth a shot at level 6. It will be interesting to see how he does.

We may have missed out on a talent there. However he has not stayed long at each club.
Yes Macc do owe us post Dennisgate and they can pay a % of his wages
Obeng played in the reserves and was signed by Macc.
Any idea what Macc's playing budget is as for a 'poor' club they seem to make loads of signings?

They claim not to be bankrolled but they have to be, gates vs squad/spend can't add up.

Perhaps JG will now see how we really lack firepower without Danny Lloyd in the side. Massive three points lost today.
Cannot see why Cody R. signed for Macc on non contract terms. He didnt make their 16 and would have been in ours. He wasn't given the right advise. Ok they are a division higher but do not have the fan base we do and we are a bigger club allround. Macc must be offering more money and if so I cannot see them surviving.
JG please go out and find us a striker than can score goals and win us matches.

I believe Cody wanted to play full time, which we cant offer. It will be interesting to see how he gets on one level higher. Without Lloyd our finishing is generally poor.JG must realise this and I am sure he is looking for the right striker to fit in with the rest of the squad. I wouldnt be surprised to see a new signing in November.

Keep saying it, when will we find a striker. Had a lad knocking on our door and we negleted him as no better that what we have, even after scoring 8 reserve goals in only 160 minutes of playing time. If we thought he was not good enough why haven't we found someone since last May. Would not have lost the Flyde/Kidderminster/Woking games if we had someone.

We're part time.
He wanted full time.
He's signed for a club full time.
We're still part time.
Join the dots.

No getting away from the issue but, more goals are needed desperately. Two home matches this week a goal in each. Today our top scorer misses a penalty which changed the match. Good strike though unlucky but we need someone else who can finish off games though urgently. I have been crying out for someone for three months now. Forget about the possibility of promotion until we find someone. I know it will not be easy, but think of the number of points we have given away to other clubs.

We all know the importance of scoring goals and the more we score the better chance of winning games. We all have seen an improvement in our performances recently but home games against Kidderminster 0-1 and Bradford PA 1-2 and away draws against Nuneaton and Tamworth, we only collected two points. If we had converted the many chances our efforts deserved, then we could and should have won all four and been one point off 2nd place Chorley who we recently defeated. Adding on to that had we also beaten Flyde we would have been top. IMO its goals scored that makes the difference between promotion and relegation and at Stockport County we have not had the firepower for a number of years, hence we are in the sixth tier. We have to find another Angell and Armstrong, Francis and Preece or Atkins and Fryatt. Remember the success we had in those days. To be successfull again we need to find the firepower Lloyd and ?? It is the missing cog in our wheel

So disappointed that things haven't worked out for Glenn Rule. A quality footballer who needs to work hard to get his fitness levels back to the level they should be at. Glenn you work hard and get yourself back in the mood, I am sure there will be a trial place at the club in the close season if you want it.

Where would we be placed in the league if we had Adam Morgan, Damien Reeves and Flyde's Danny Rowe. I just wish.....
What a forward line Morgan, Stopforth, Reeves, Rowe, Lloyd. Unstoppable IMO

That would damage teams at the level above yet alone our level, we'd need deep pockets mind.

I identified this problem over five months ago and we still labour on without solving it. Teams like Flyde and Barrow in the division above have an abundance of firepower in their teams and look where they have been these last two seasons. Had we had players that could convert the many chances we seem to create in every game, where would we be in the league. A lot higher than we are now.
In Jim I trust but last season we had some capable loanees in Dyson, Kirby and Brewster. Surely Jim can find a few loanees or hopefully some January signings for players nearing the end of contacts.
I hear on the grapevine that one, possibly two signings are imminent but won't be disclosed until they are done and dusted. However whoever they are, I hope that they are ones to solve our present lack of firepower problems and sweep us to promotion. Another year at this level is unthinkable and unacceptable.
