One of several hundred who like to slag this place off, yet check it out at least half a dozen times a day

Hey Suedehead/ TRE, do you have figures for most popular threads during the season? Say, the top 10 or something. Just curious.
No doubt politics thread is most popular, but sure Gannon sacked, Rusk Appointed, WHU, Hartlepool and Torquay match threads were busy.

Can't pull that out definitively without a degree of faff, but pretty sure The Politics Thread is the longest at nearly 200 pages. I think the longest match thread was Eastleigh away at 61 pages, Notts County home was about 55. West Ham match thread was 46 pages but had about 10k additional views to comparative length match threads in the league which is interesting. I guess a lot of West Ham fans and media interest looking in. I think the most viewed thread is Edgeley Park refurbishment with 112,000 views. Gannon Sacked had 51,000 views, 925 replies. Next manager had 50,000 and just over 800 replies, but there were several threads talking about the same issues which diluted the numbers. The two/three days when Gannon was sacked were by far the busiest days for traffic with about 75k views each day. I think the number one advantage of this board is all the history. We've only had it one season and it's already such a rich archive of what's happened. Think what it'll be like in 5-10 years to look back on and read the old match threads and all these opinions. On Marions this would all be gone forever.

Should I have heard of Matty Allsopp? Yes. He’s a famous spotty virgin from Hazel Grove who sticks two birds in his profile picture to show he’s a right shagger.

Some going to keep that thread going for four years on his own. Full credit.

Forgetting about actual events at County, then been a good 1st season for you guys Yeah, when you consider just over a year ago me and TRE were getting emails at all hours calling us Nazis and slagging us off, I think this place has been brilliant. Said it before but the match threads have been an absolute lifeline for keeping us engaged with games and have been really enjoyable. They'll be different next season once we're back in the ground but hope they continue. Sounds weird but in the absence of going to games, they help frame the week. Seeing one appear on a Wednesday afternoon and watching it develop until the Sunday/Monday is great.

Feel there is a bit less vitriol on this board, we seem to be able to have differing opinions without people taking it too far with vindictive / personal comments, especially so with the divisiveness caused by the Managerial change. It's been relatively sensible considering that.

This place has been brilliant. Good mix of sensible thought, wokeness and unconscious racism in one place.
