A different spin on 'County shirt of the Day' here. Using a kit making tool used for PES, I've been playing around and made a pair of classic kits with modern stylings, given the rumoured kit manufacturer:

This is about as close to stripes as I’d like us to go though.

I'm still a big fan of classic vertical blue and white stripes, badge in the middle, red numbers on the back - like the last Adidas one we had in 1999. 7.0.1

Another one from the archives, Gary Dicker's 07/08 away shirt.

Another one from the archives, Gary Dicker's 07/08 away shirt. That brief chestband run of kits were great; I reckon they should have clung onto that.

It was a nice idea with the chest bands to try and find a “County” identity with shirt styles. I think overall though I’ve come around to the idea that our identity is that we don’t have variatins on a single theme but are open to many.
I would like to see more white on shirts though. And white shorts. And yellow or amber on socks. Only socks though. Amber or yellow on shirts or shorts is too Mansfield.

They had the opposite, was a right car crash. I've got a pic somewhere.

Getting some love on Twitter. That away shirt worn at Sunderland must be giving you sleepless nights. I’ve never seen that before.

Getting some love on Twitter. That away shirt worn at Sunderland must be giving you sleepless nights. I’ve never seen that before. I remember that pair going through eBay in January 2006. I think I actually won the home one but couldn’t afford to pay for it as I was a student. They were about £130 each, huge money back then. I’d obviously love it but I’m not that fussed about stuff pre my time. Doesn’t mean as much. I can think of some other stuff that would be way ahead of that in my list of most wanted.
