People have opinions on messageboards sometimes! Revelatory, I know. He’s not complaining, just saying he prefers a different type of netting. Hardly the fall of the Roman Empire is it? I’ll copy and paste this to you next time you think your opinion trumps someone else’s on something you disagree with. Cool. I don’t think my opinion trumps anyone else’s. That’s why they’re opinions. So you’re all good. 👍🏻

A very good decision by the club 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Yep, hopefully all goes through without any issue and there's some decent artists involved.

Great stuff. That last weekend was a real success and the town was buzzing.
Be interesting to see which bands they get this time as 19,000 is pretty small for the outdoor gigs when you consider the capacities at other stadiums in town and Heaton Park.

Funny. Our group took our usual seats in LT1 .. one seat was plastered in bird shit .. About 3 people who all came in at different times in the space of a few minutes before kick off "some things never change" ha ha.

Provides a good medium for bands who aren’t mega stars (Heaton Park is c70k as is Old Trafford etc) but can still muster up a good outdoor crowd.

Sounds like the gigs are potentially coming back. /?d=n Slightly torn on this. Yes its good for Edgeley and Stockport, but I do wonder how much of an impact it would have on the pitch - in the last TSBW podcast with Liam Cash he talked about wanting to completely rebuild the pitch from scratch, that needs a full summer off season to do and couldn't be done if there are a bunch of concerts on there. Plus I can see how if you live near the ground it would get annoying. Its one thing having it busy for a couple of hours for a game of football every fortnight, but a 5 day concert series till late each night? I've seen lots of comments on Facebook of the issues with the last concerts including parking, litter and people pissing in the street as well as noise.

I think this is what the town has been crying out for Yes an indoor arena that holds a good capacity would be better but the town hasn't got that you only have to look at Lytham festival to see this type of thing could be very successful for the town I share your concerns about the pitch but i would have thought thinks like that would be taken into account I hope it gets past

It's good news. It'll bring revenue in and clearly the last one was a big success, including for the pubs/Castle St and the town centre. Residents who live next to a football ground should really be fans or at least be happy to put up with different kinds of noise and events, otherwise move somewhere else!

Anyone sit in the lower tiers on Saturday? Hate to sound like a bore, but the seats all look wonky and mismatched. How have we managed that? Bad vibes. On the plus side the concourse looked great, the pies looked a massive cut above too and the beer was actually drinkable. Though the fresh new toilets looked battered after one game. Do people just piss on the floor? And who shits at a football ground and doesn't flush it? I mean, who shits at a football ground anyway!

I don't think I've ever shat at a match, you make a good if unusual point.

Was with my three year old so took her a couple of times. First time after about 20 mins was pretty much fine, second time after 75 mins or so was flooded, bog roll all over the floor, piss on the seats. Disgusting pigs.
