They should've left the frame to the sides of the Cheadle End red if they weren’t painting the underneath as it now looks unfinished. Whilst ripping the seats it is the time to do it so if they aren’t then they’ll never bother. Maybe they have other plans for it. And If a massive big money advert covers the visible part on the front up who gives a f*ck. We’re a different club (thankfully) from the days of some scouse c*nt chancer taking the piss. We’re back in the league OFF the pitch, now we need to do it on the pitch.

I like the work they did on the sides of the CE and of course ideally the under frame would have looked slightly better if it had been done too but it’s hardly a thing to be worked up about.

It’s as if some people find any little issue to moan about at times.
The ground has been transformed from a place that was dated, scruffy and in some parts just rotting away. We’ve got facilities that most teams in our league would be proud of and we’ll be looking to do the same with the team that’s on the pitch.
Some folk will never be content or happy.

Surely better to box it in with cladding. It could then have advertising or sponsorship along the front
Also it would stop the pigeons roosting in the steelwork and shitting everywhere.

Now, when the seats are out, would have been the obvious time to have painted the main girder; using a cherry-picker, I guess it would not have taken very long.
As for the pigeons, proper anti-bird netting on the girder, or maybe even for the whole underside of the roof, would probably be a quicker and cheaper answer, but again that would be much easier to do while there were no seats below.

Anyone picked up some seats? I got some today. No idea what I’m going to do with them though. Nice bit of memorabilia anyway.

When something good comes on telly (granted not very often) leap up (get your wife to do it too) and then throw yourself back down onto your seat in disappointment with an 'oh fu*k' or similar expletive to get the usual EP experience.
