Hopefully Laura K follows from the BBC. Although she’d probably get a job as the spin doctor for Boris next month

Only wanted to put one option. Who gives a toss. We should all give a toss, he's been running our country for a while now and he's a devious b*stard.

He's the champion and leader of the wierd, self harming death cult that half the country inexplicably seem to support, so no chance of him sacking himself.

He should be charged with mass murder. His herd immunity strategy has resulted in 1,000's going to early graves.

For the avoidance of doubt, the NHS's own instructions on people who have Coronavirus symptoms: Can I leave my home if I'm self-isolating?
If you or someone you live with has symptoms of coronavirus:
do not leave your home for any reason – if you need food or medicine, order it online or by phone, or ask someone to deliver it to your home
do not have visitors in your home – including friends and family
do any exercise at home – you can use your garden, if you have one
---
It could not be any clearer. Dominic Cummings should not resign. He should be sacked.
Those saying things like 'he was only doing what any parent would do': in that case, it's a pity the government has been telling people for more than two months not to do the very same thing. And it's an even greater pity that tens of thousands of families have lost their loved ones without being able to say goodbye, because of those very same rules which it's seemingly okay for Mr Johnson's adviser to break.
I think a lot of political 'rows' are self-fulfilling, over-hyped nonsense, but this is a genuine disgrace.Attachments:

Not on twitter myself but I hear there are a lot of government ministers lining up to defend him on there - what's wrong with protecting loved ones etc, etc. Coming after weeks of reading heartbreaking tales of people dying alone in hospital saying goodbye to their family via a tablet, they're taking the piss out of us.
Aside from that, the inference that this was actually ok is potentially disastrous. The chances of people who have the virus but don't know it yet obeying lockdown orders erodes every time someone makes an excuse for him.

I'm sure people will be along shortly to defend it all. Should provide some high comedy, at least.
This has exposed more than Cummings' actions. The response has revealed what the government thinks of you (if you'd not worked it out despite the evidence). Yes, you, you unimportant little person.

There will be no reaction from fluffy head. I think Johnson's scared of him. He hasn't got a PMQs to navigate for a few weeks so will disappear off the scene to look after one of his many children. If only he had a partner, nanny or other assorted household staff to help him. He will hope it dies down in time.
As it stands he needs the protection that Cummings gives him. The Cabinet are frightened of him (Cummings) and he's manipulated a role that gives him more power than an unelected civil servant should have. He will get stronger, the party will react and it will get very messy. Hopefully.
I couldn't imagine Thatcher being in the same position.

The bast-rd won't resign he has thicker skin than an elephant!
Did he stop on this 250+ mile journey at a service station? I expect so putting people in danger.
What if he had broken down/had an accident? - that puts the emergency service people in more danger.
He's 48, Mrs is 45 so I expect his parents are not exactly spring chickens and could have been classed as vulnerable.
And he advises the Government (well BOJO) on policy etc.
All I can say is - JESUS WEPT!
