Brilliant! He's not too bad this Stott fella is he? Good job too, the sniffles pandemic has left me skint. Very happy so far

Very happy with the outcome, sensible and fair! Full marks to the owner/board . Surely no one is actually going to ask for the refund? It an unfortunate situation we find ourselves in, but we shouldn’t let one man foot the bill? We should all be doing our bit to support the club,

Guess it's about what you can afford, some people are working short weeks, some furloughed and others with no work.
For those that can afford it they could refuse a refund or give the money to HTH or the Co-op. Whilst we seem set we always should have a financially strong Co-op just in case, but that is a whole other subject!

I don’t think it’s a case of people being able to afford as they have already paid the money last summer! I don’t think it to should go to the Co-op, if Mr Stott does what he says, ground renovation, new stands, training ground etc then it’d take the Co-op an eternity to raise enough cash to be in a position to ever buy the club etc

Good update, just wonder when we'll actually be able to watch County again?
Assuming the season does start in August, then still can't see us being allowed inside grounds till around xmas. Hope I'm wrong, and it must be a nightmare trying to make any business plans at the moment with so much uncertainty. ( btw, I know there are bigger issues for some people)

Liking all of that. Not a season ticket holder myself but the match day freezing is a decent gesture, and agreed that it could prove sound business as well, when live football returns and can start to feed the pent-up appetite for it.
Hello again everyone by the way..

Some have lost jobs others on reduced salary/ no overtime etc.

It an unfortunate situation we find ourselves in, but we shouldn’t let one man foot the bill? We should all be doing our bit to support the club, I weren't suggesting everyone should get refunds - I'm just applauding their announcement that I think is fair? I wouldn't slander people if they had chosen to take a refund anyway, we're in a different environment atm where certain people are under financial pressures due to the virus - if this could ease their burden, even slightly, then fair play to them. I do agree we should do our bit to support the club (if able to) and I for one will be renewing my Season Ticket when the details are announced!

There may be some who need the refund due to finances, but i agree with you....the rest should help support the club through this and not neccessarily ask for the refund, or if you get it,spend it in the club shop or the county lottery. Each to their own,but I'm going to be supporting these new owners as much as possible as the signings they've made pre-lockdown prove they deserve backing.
