Apart from Rishi Sunak.I have no confidence in any other Tory mp Another public schoolboy all too eager to jump in when his predecessor showed some backbone and stood up to Cummings, all he's done is give out monopoly money to cover the mess.

And still not a word from any opposition spokesman saying what actions they would have taken.! Why would they? What benefit is it to anyone? They can't implement it even if they did.

And still not a word from any opposition spokesman saying what actions they would have taken.! What would that achieve ? An alternative opinion possibly Bigmartin ? Given we are all in this pandemic together I would think all opinions and suggestions should be reviewed and considered. Do you disagree?

Do you disagree? Pff. So they can be ridiculed where people disagree, or be preached to about the benefit of hindsite where people agree. Waste of time. These kooks are in charge of the shit show. Let them own it. people need to stop looking elsewhere for reasons to salve their consciences for giving these clowns a 'pass season ticket'.

Any suggestions by Labour would see them accused of political point scoring, we need a full report when the dust settles, obviously after the Russian report but that was cleared for publication ages ago so wouldn't use up any time.

Absolutely no need. Starmer is just sitting and watching them destroy themselves

Starmer has been critical at times, but in a calm and measured way, without histrionics. And if a criticism is 'The guidance is unclear', you can assume that the advice is 'Give clear guidance.'
He is also involved on a weekly basis providing advice as part of the group of political parties from across the UK. He has, from the start, said that he wanted to work with the government. Were he to be screaming and shouting about what the government was doing/failing to do he would be accused of reneging in that commitment and trying to score points, as we saw Johnson try to do last week when people were rightly calling out the government for lying.

Absolutely no need. Starmer is just sitting and watching them destroy themselves Possibly ebbs, very possibly and he only has 4 more years to wait for their destruction to see if Labours policies are what the electorate will want. What with the pending years of yet more Brexit agony, the worst recession we are allegedly entering for the last 300 years with huge numbers of failed businesses and mass unemployment in excess of 10%, travel disruption estimated to last for years, the decimation of the arts, hospitality and retail industry, house value plummeting, repossesions on the rise, food banks becoming the norm for many , trade wars between USA and China escalating , the £ dropping affecting ex-pats lives etc etc its a terrible terrible 4 years we will all have to endure

Allows plenty of time for them to own their failings and perhaps after 15 years of these clowns in charge people will stop blaming Labour for this country's ills. Though I live in hope rather than expectation of that. Mind you. Don't be surprised if the Tories call another GE in the next year or so. They're not yet entirely past the point where they can't offload all the shite they've created onto Labour to allow them to take the fall.
