Just finished “When They See Us” on Netflix. A four part drama about the Central Park Five, a story I knew nothing about. The acting is incredible. Same director as “13th”. Talented lady.

Best telly ever! Everything else is a distant second. Everything about it is perfect. Agreed it'll take some beating, I couldn't believe my luck when I bumped into Steve Schirripa who plays Bobby Bacala wondering round a Christmas market in New York a few years ago when the Sopranos was just coming to an end. I'm rarely starstruck but I had to ask for a picture with him, as he appears on screen he's a unit of a bloke but an absolute gent. stonerose , this should pique your interest, two and half hour Rogan chat with Steve Schirripa & Michael Imperioli

I've just finished the first series of Sunderland til I die and all I can say is wow! What a basket case of a club they were back then. Also the amount of back room staff they had was incredible even after getting rid of over 80 when they got relegated from the Premier league. The most shocking part was when a fan called Chris Coleman a p###k outside the ground after they were relegated and there was a moment they nearly ended up having a roll about. I can't wait to start season 2.

I thought Tennant and Jason Watkins were very good but was a bit underwhelmed by it really. The first episode was good but then everything else was just a race to the end. I've said this elsewhere that we're spoilt by some of the big HBO series so unfair to compare three part ITV programmes to them but can't help but that it could have been so much better if it had another couple of hours.
As a side note, good to see Daniel Mays back on telly. I'll watch anything with him in it.

The Harold Shipman programme has been good viewing this week for a bit of local history. Think its the last one tonight, but its all on the BBC Iplayer.
