Couldn’t really think of an existing thread to put this in so I’ll start a generic politics thread.
Anyway, you know how all millennials are snowflakes and react at the slightest injustice, have a read of the comments on this tweet and see how upset Tory voters get at the image of two black people.

The one that said " resentment will follow if you don't balance it out" was a real highlight. As if centuries of white people systematically oppressing non-whites are outdone by a Father's Day picture of a black bloke.

Big day for Boris. Although not even he knows exactly how big.

My brother is married to a beautiful girl from Jamacian parents and they have 4 children, 1 girl & 3 boys. Although he works close to central London, they live in Orpington, Kent, so away from possible trouble in inner London. They have a lovely home (5 bedrooms with 4 toilets) in a very smart area, probably worth in excess of £1.5 million.
He or Angel, his wife, have never mentioned any problems regarding their childrens' ethnicity so perhaps it could be perceived in some peoples mind.

But just because it doesn't noticeably happen to or effect them doesn't mean it doesn't happen or that they shouldn't be aware of it happening. I haven't been beaten up or thrown out of the family home for being gay but I know both of those things happen.

Wow!!!
The Conservative Party has unwittingly and spectacularly outed their own supporters for the vile racists they are!

Bigmartin, click on Conservatives #StayAlert and scroll down
You will see the post.
Who would have thought such an innocuous post from Tory HQ would show their support for the vile cretins they really are.

They don't even hide it anymore. No need, they know they've got half the country and that's all they need as long as the other half don't get organised, this is where Cummings has got it right, May tried to appeal to the majority and that meant softening the message, Express readers don't want that.

Cummings understands the power of shoring your base. So does Trump

It's perfectly representative, for Father's Day, of a father and son, I'd have thought; but that's not the first thing that goes through the minds of these tools, evidently. Having said that, it also smacks of Conservative tokenism.
