My brother is married to a beautiful girl from Jamacian parents and they have 4 children, 1 girl & 3 boys. Although he works close to central London, they live in Orpington, Kent, so away from possible trouble in inner London. They have a lovely home (5 bedrooms with 4 toilets) in a very smart area, probably worth in excess of £1.5 million. He or Angel, his wife, have never mentioned any problems regarding their childrens' ethnicity so perhaps it could be perceived in some peoples mind.

That's a lot of toilets in relation to the number of bedrooms 🤔

That's a lot of toilets in relation to the number of bedrooms 🤔 Similar to our house in that respect, 1 toilet to 2 bedrooms, masks are not compulsory but sometimes advisable.

Anyone else on here who regularly wears a mask? I just don't understand the reluctance or why anyone waits for a lead from this government. I've always worn one when popping out to the shops or other environments where I might come near strangers, always been in favour of it, it's simply being considerate to others. I've long vented my frustration to anyone who'd listen (and some who won't (sorry)) that wearing a mask greatly reduces the spread of a virus spread via oral droplets, yet the last 3-4 months have put the idea in many peoples' heads that it's spread by miasma. Mandatory masks, as part of a wider initiative of identification & isolation (such as the recent lockdown in Leicester) are the way forward if we want a semblance of normal life back. Anyway, on a somewhat related note... though I rather wish it weren't, as I've tried to avoid all the political gubbins the last few months.. but I can't turn a blind eye to the latest revelations about cronyism by Gove, and dodgy government contracts. Handing out and hiding deals to your chums, whilst health workers caught & died from the virus... me, I'll always try and avoid saying 'Tory this and that' since it ends up putting many people in a "my team, right or wrong" mentality, I don't care whose team anybody is on, I just hope the British public doesn't let them sweep it under the carpet, 'cos to me it looks absolutely criminal.

"Looks absolutely criminal" certainly does but probably isn't. Another shady deal that stinks but nobody seems to care. It all gets too depressing sometimes.

All this should be part of the inquiry, there's a lot of our money being spent and we need to know where it went, I get the feeling this govt are just maxing out all our credit cards and doing a runner.

David Cameron, 2016: “There has been no Russian interference in UK politics.”
Theresa May, 2018: “There has been no Russian interference in UK politics.”
Boris Johnson, 2020: “не было никакого российского вмешательства в британскую политику”

The word Brexit even sounds Russian.

It also highlights them as conniving b*stards. They are laughing in the faces of the country. A further example of what we're becoming. It's not pretty. It feels a bit like someone is revealing our portrait in the attic.

At what point does outside influence prevent a country from being able to claim to be a Democracy?
Sadly most people aren't interested. Especially when the influence goes their way (as they see it). It's boring, they're all the same, the pubs are open.

And the British people would still vote them back in if there was a General Election tomorrow. "This world is totally Fugazi" - Marillion

Thank God for the British. It is good to know democratic laws still apply. Those that do not vote Conservative- such as me, should be rounded up and shot!
