Thirteen players to have won England caps in three different decades. Two complete b*stard answers, but you've heard of the other eleven, so name them, no googling. BTW, England haven't played any matches in the 20s yet.

Correct so far: Shilton (70-90) Adams (87-00) Ferdinand (97-11) Lampard (99-14)
Most of the wrong answers so far made their debut a few months too late, or their last appearance a few months short: Beckham (96-09), Gerrard (00-14), Terry (03-12), Pearce (87-99) and Robson (80-91).

Terry Butcher might have done from 79 - 90 or so
Older players are less likely to appear as fewer internationals were played in those days, but guess the two we won’t get are both WWI era, appearing both pre war and post war.
Billy Wright purely based on the fact he was the record holder for the most England appearances for so long.
Guess at least one other player made the World Cup squads in 66/70 but also played in the 50s. Jack Charlton / Roger Hunt?

Based on the intro to the quiz, I guess at least one of the answers is someone from the 1800s/turn of the century.

Yes to Heskey and James.
Jack Charlton I was surprised to see didn't get his first gap until a month before his 30th birthday, so he's a no. Billy Wright won his 105th and last cap eight months before the 60s. Roger Hunt had a 7 year England career but it was confined to the 1960s.
