Apologies - Frain is right. From an earlier reply, David Miller isn't correct - he made a handful of appearances at the start of the 94/5 season. The correct answers so far are Bill Williams, Frain, Preece (all v Burnley 1994), Duffield v Port Vale 92/3 and James Smith v Rochdale 2007/8. Still one more to get.

No,not Paul Wheeler. It was a County legend. I've got his shirt from the Peterborough final. He was first on the scene celebrating with Big Kev, number 14.

That's a good description of the missing number 11 HTC, he won 23 caps. I've put the years in for the three missing players: 1 (1907-20) 2 (07-20) 3 Stanley Matthews (34-57) (The Real Exile) 4 Bobby Charlton (58-70) (The Real Exile) 5 Emlyn Hughes (69-80) (The Real Exile) 6 Peter Shilton (70-90) (suedehead) 7 Tony Adams (87-00) (suedehead) 8 David Seaman (88-02) (suedehead) 9 David James (97-10) (suedehead) 10 Rio Ferdinand (97-11) (suedehead) 11 (99-10) 12 Jamie Carragher (99-10) (suedehead) 13 Emile Heskey (99-10) (malvernhatter) 14 Frank Lampard Jr (99-14) (suedehead) Carlton Palmer?

Think it was confirmed elsewhere on the thread as Wes Brown
