Bolton are a big club but I think it's a mistake, expectations will be high at Bolton and he's missing out on leading a club out for their first league game in nearly 50 years.

Wow.. what a decision to make for him.
Bolton are obviously such a big club in league 2 with great history, whereas Barrow have just secured their place back in the football league after such a long absence.
Could go from hero to zero, or could really escalate his role as a manager... good luck to him whatever decision he makes.... I wouldn't like to be in his shoes, and try to explain it to the wife!!

Echo everyone else’s thoughts really. I like Ian Evatt but it’d be a mistake for him to go to Bolton I think. They’re a shambles of a club.

they may be a shambles of a club at the moment, but its a risk worth taking. even with the hotch potch of a side they put out last season they may have escaped the drop if they hadn,t had a points deduction. not a betting man but i,d bet bolton finish higher than barrow next season. i,d have said the same if evatt had stayed at barrow also.

Yeah, but you’re not comparing apples with apples there. If Barrow stay up, job done. Bolton will be expecting to finish somewhere in the top one, after years in decline. We know as well as anyone that it’s rarely that simple. Also, even without the points deduction, they’d still have been third bottom, 9 points adrift. They’re a dismal side. Edit: second bottom, even. Was including Bury.

Was including Bury. bolton started off with kids then signed players out of contract. they were in a bigger mess than we were under garry ablett on and off the pitch. relagation for them was on the cards from match number 1. a lot depends on their fans expectations next season. i,d be happy with mid table after seeing what could happen to them. they could easily follow us and chesterfield if they are not careful.
