Just think we could be playing Stoke Again very soon. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had another relegation if they drop down this season and will drop into league 2 whilst we win our place back to the FL.

Very tight at the bottom of the champ isn’t it. Hope they go down. Horrible bar stewards.

Stoke still have to play Leeds, Brentford and Nottingham Forest too. All within the promotion hunt.
Their next game is against Barnsley who would go above them with a win! They’re in real danger of dropping
Ha ha ha

It’s looking like one recent premier league club will go down. Stoke, Huddersfield, Boro or Hull. Some massive clubs now in League 1, won’t be long before it’s like a second Championship. It looks extremely hard to get out of already.

Mad that Brentford are on the verge of the automatic promotion places too. They were always perennial bottom two divisions fodder like us for most of my life.

Benham has been in charge there for 10 years, so it’s taken them a while. And they’ve spent six years trying to get it right in the Championship.

I remember thinking in 2013 when they reached the play offs and lost to Borough that they’d blown their only chance. And then when they binned Warburton I thought they’d definitely drop back to L1. But fair play to them. As you say, it can be done. No reason why we can’t be the next one to make that jump.

Brentford are a "Cockney" version of County for me, and always have been. Hope they get up. I know what you're saying, but they're about as Cockney as Portsmouth I know. I know the area extremely well, my mother is born and bred Hounslow, and a childhood Brentford fan, and we used to visit my grandparents down there regularly, hence putting the word Cockney in inverted commas. I meant Cockney in the inaccurate but very widely used sense of from, or, of London. Rather than the precise sense of born within the sound of the bells of St Mary-le-Bow church.
