If you can stomach an American marveling over British cuisine, this is a good watch.

If you can stomach an American marveling over British cuisine, this is a great watch. If we did a deal with lord of the pies they'd sell very well!

Lord of the Pies have abandoned their shop on Petersgate. I think they have a place in Macc and was there one in Didders?
Their old place has been taken over by those running Athena and will be selling designer pizzas.

They do still have their place in Macc. Does really well.
They were in Chorlton as well but that one along with Stockport just didn't do the business.

Presumably they don't make their Stockport pie anymore if they've abandoned their Stockport premises? would of loved to have seen their pies at County.

Wilson's Pork pies based in armley come highly recommended. At my old office we had delight of the pie van!

Gutted about Lord of the pies shutting, on our regular trips home we often had a pre match pie there. So what and where are the best pies in Stockport now

We'll be selling a great range of homemade pies when we open very soon near the market hall Whereabouts exactly? Just behind the Boars Head, facing the new bar The Glass Spider.

I remember talking with the bloke behind LOTP, he sounded very ethusiastic about selling at County but it was a no-go 'cos of the catering deal, or something. Shame really, the Stockport Pie is one of the nicest things I've tasted
