It is embarrassing but at least it’s not a 1-11 number. Nobody will notice 22 being missing off a squad list.

I seriously don’t get the logic behind it at all. What happens if in 5 years time they play someone younger? Do they reinstate the 22 and retire the new number?
Hasn’t he only had one season in the first team too?
Strange behaviour from Birmingham.

Highly unlikely to be the reason why and if it was it’d be the worst reason thus far. You’d have some clubs with no numbers left if everyone followed suit. |
