Newcastle do my head in. Have a lot of support and think that's their divine right to be challenging for Europe year on year. I get Ashley has done little to help but they were like that before he was even heard of. I guess that flies in the face of the "no reason whatsoever" but I needed to get that off my chest!! its not just the club and their fans but the media regarding the mags. you get a situation where some side is near relagation. they say there next four games are really tough. liverpool and chelsea away. manchester united and newcastle at home. bloody newcastle, they are only 2 points above the relagation feering side but always classed as a really difficult game in the liverpool catogary.

The side under Keegan were great to watch and they were good for a few years whilst winning nowt, it's hard when you have tasted success to watch dour football- we know how that felt.

Those 2 matches against Liverpool where they lost 4-3 were two of the best games ever.

Their fearless attacking cost them in the end but a great watch, compare that to some of the 10 men behind the ball damage limitation rubbish they have had to suffer, I have seen a lot of it as the Wife is a Newcastle Supporter

Those 2 matches against Liverpool where they lost 4-3 were two of the best games ever. the important part of that sentence is the word LOST. summed keegan up for me. its about being entertaining winners not entertaining losers. its football not a TV drama.

Does it sum up Dalglish too, as he was Newcastle boss for the second one.

My last employer was based in Newcastle so I worked with a few of their fans and found them quite decent. The exception was the Company Oaf, he was always on about The Toon, how he hated the Mackems, had a Mag's ringtone on his phone, dead proud of his son who attended EDL marches in a Newcastle shirt, the full nine yards. Then one day, as we were walking back to the boat after lunch, I was saying I was hoping to get home for the weekend to watch County to which he replied "You know, I've never been to a football match." 😮

I can't believe harrogate have snuck under radar by the press. How much money have they spent? Like all the other plastic clubs they'll fall when the money stops. I imagine that the current team will end up playing at harrogate railway whilst wetherby road is used for expensive housing!

I imagine that the current team will end up playing at harrogate railway whilst wetherby road is used for expensive housing! think harrogate and hopefully think rushden and diamonds at the same time. think they got under the radar due to those at fylde and salford having more to say and got more publicity. being harrogate you cannot call em a plastic club but a thermoplastic polymer of high molecular weight one.

Liverpool. Hate the team. Hate the city. Horrible bunch of thieving rat munchers! Liverpool of the 2010s is a lovely city, compared to the 80s it has vastly improved. Much prefer liverpool city centre to Manchester.
