Liverpool. Hate the team. Hate the city. Horrible bunch of thieving rat munchers! Liverpool of the 2010s is a lovely city, compared to the 80s it has vastly improved. Much prefer liverpool city centre to Manchester. Agreed. Since the capital of culture it is a really good place to visit. Much prefer the team to either of the Manc ones too.

It's the people that are the issue for me.
Went to New Brighton last week and went to the beach. Found an area away from anyone, as I don't like scousers. Within 10 minutes, two groups had pitched up either side despite the fact it was a massive beach.
One side of me is a family, with a fat scouser screaming abuse and effing and jeffing at his kids (Jayden, Kayden and Okayden) to come 'ere, when he could get up and walk 200 yards to actually ask them politely.
The other side of me is a couple of lads smoking skunk.
Am sorry, but I just hate the people, the accent, the grief wallowing attitude and the football team!
**** hole.

Can admin change the typo in the title of this thread? It stresses me out every time I see it.

Liverpool. Hate the team. Hate the city. Horrible bunch of thieving rat munchers! Yet Rashford down the road admits he struggled for food when young? Not sure Mancs can sing about eating rats, poverty etc. given the current situation

Not sure Mancs can sing about eating rats, poverty etc. given the current situation I think anyone who takes the piss out of another town/city for poverty and deprivation is a complete dickhead, to be honest.

Totally agree, Had some cracking drinks in Liverpool when visiting for gigs, always found the scousers a good crack too, I just tell 'em i'm from Stockport & hate City & United, usually goes down well In Manchester's defence though it is also a vastly improved place compared to what it was in the 80's especially in terms of the variety of places to eat & drink, you just have to avoid the spice heads around piccadilly gardens & it's usually ok!

Liverpool. Hate the team. Hate the city. Horrible bunch of thieving rat munchers! It's got more than it's share of scallies but I find the people really warm and welcoming.

If you want a quieter beach go to Formby, very pleasant last time I went.

Went on a stag do to Madrid last year. Mostly older blokes, well my age, mixture of Liverpool and Everton, and you couldn't have met a nicer bunch of blokes, genuinely funny, and very interested and supportive of our club. Was there when we lost to Chorley and they were gutted for me. When we finally got promoted got loads of great messages.

I can't believe harrogate have snuck under radar by the press. How much money have they spent? Like all the other plastic clubs they'll fall when the money stops. I imagine that the current team will end up playing at harrogate railway whilst wetherby road is used for expensive housing! Weaver Snr has already thrown his toys out of the pram once before and threatened to withdraw His funding in the summer before they were promoted from the North as the Board wanted to sack Weaver Jnr due to constant failure to make the playoffs and he was having none of it. They’ve been looking at moving away from Wetherby Road for a while (I suspect to turn it into house) but the land they looked to buy ended up been turned into a housing estate instead. Can’t see there being any other place they could put a new ground on atm unless they move several miles out of town

The problem is harrogate isn't a big town a football town it isn't going to be successful looking term.

They can keep away from cookridge! The problem is harrogate isn't a big town a football town it isn't going to be successful looking term. bit like having a league team somewhere like kendal, bourton on the water or chichester. due to being near a hospital at present they could move to cookridge and rename themselves cookridge and menston AFC to honour these past establishments.
