Good stuff. Competion at centre back and opens up back 3 as a decent option too. Starting to think the backup keeper might be an u23 from up the pyramid on a loan.. leaves room for a no 10, right wing and holding midfielder, then we’re done and ready???

Top stuff, great signing and one who’ll just drop in without any drama.
Back three of him, Palmer and Hogan with Minihan and Jennings/Kitching either side?

Someone on here recently said Jennings would be an away game left back and I thought Kitching must have some kind of fear of buses and couldn’t travel or something but I can see now from his interview that he prefers wing back so would make sense it that formation for Kitching to be the main guy and Jennings is cover/flat back four.

Do Liverpool and City change their systems for home and away... not being facetious.. don’t watch a lot of premiership.. genuine question.

Brilliant signing that. Really pleased we’ve managed to get him back. Welcome back, Jamie.

Both of them stick to their chosen formations pretty rigidly. Chelsea and United often switch to back three in particular in big games against the better sides.

I agree with the GK situation and to fill 7, 8 and 10 with back up but unless James Jennings can fill in at right back we will need someone to deputise for Sam unless we sign a no 7 capable of ousting Adam who can then fill in at RB when required. Four or five quality signings to come and five more will leave us with a squad of 20 plus Downing, Curran and Stephenson, which Jim hinted at three weeks ago and since that time he has made six quality signings, all absolute gems in the Jennings brothers, Kitching, Rooney Reid and Stott. With more to come.

Be good.to let the opposition worry about us Jim will always look at opposition weaknesses and set up to exploit them. It helps to make us unpredictable in a way playing the same every game wouldn’t; giving opponents plenty to worry about.
