Bobby Jones will play in the play off final on Monday away at Macclesfield - 3pm kick off Good luck Neil Young and marine. I know he wasn't a great manager here but at least he worked that out and walked. Actually in his early days he did improve things on the pitch. Its just he overcompansated for us getting bullied on the pitch week in week out on the pitch going too far in the opposite direction. He just lost the plot big style in the end bringing in has been players and others like robinson who let him down.

just looked to see how his career had gone since leaving us and he's stayed in the national league North ever since. Was very suprised to see he stands at 6'2/6'3ft. For some reason I thought he was about 5'11ft

Rhys Bennett playing for United's u21's, 4 nil down ........................sounds familiar !!! I was going to post that I bet he wished he could get to the chopper, but it turns out the quote from Predator isn’t “Bennett, get to the chopper!”; it’s “Go! Get to the chopper!” And Bennett isn’t even a character in Predator; he’s the baddie in Commando. Just putting this out there in case anyone’s thinking of relying on me as a defence witness.

Rhys Bennett playing for United's u21's, 4 nil down ........................sounds familiar !!! Bennett or the lad from Man City are no way near good enough for us. If we're loaning from the two Mancs, we need the cream of the crop youngsters who need minutes. Not the drips and drabs.

Rhys Bennett playing for United's u21's, 4 nil down ........................sounds familiar !!! Did he get a Champions medal? Not bothered either way, just simply wondering, that's all.

Not a dig at him, or you matbot, but the whole Glen Taylor day is well over done. People make out like he won us the league. Sam Minihan, Adam Thomas, Matty Warburton, Nyal Bell, Jim Gannon etc won us the league but they never get a mention. THe club even mentioned Glen Taylor the other week on the anniversary but there was nothing about any of the squad from that year. Taylor's goal had no more bearing on the league title than any other winning goal against Chorley that season. The timing meant it gave us a moment, and a truly incredible moment, but come on. I'd much rather we celebrate the lads who played for us than some fella who scored for Spennymoor.

Whilst I know where you are coming from Suede, I think it was the moment not the end product, I’ll bet you cant name off the top of your head any other player who scored a winning goal against Chorley that season. What it produced was a very special moment inside EP, in 64 years watching i dont think i can recall a moment like that. The fact that I can still remember the name says it all, I cant usually remember who scored for us last bloody week 😂
