I feel for Chesterfield right now, we know what it's like stuck in that downward spiral with no way of turning it round. just wonder if their season is over.

Just remembered that we can have 7 subs on the bench on Saturday. It will be good to have more options if we have the luxury of giving a few of the lesser played players some minutes.

John Pemberton interview above.
Not watched it yet but planning to do "rub of the green" bingo drinking game later. Expecting to get absolute t***ted to be honest.

I feel for Chesterfield, they've always seemed like a good club to me.
They do seem to be going down a similar route to ourselves. Hopefully Pemberton will walk away and give them time to save themselves from it if it's right they can't afford to get rid of him.
Their budget must be good enough to keep them in this league with some of the sides in the division

Sounds like we'll be unchanged or just Reid in for Jennings (if everyone's fit) as Jim wants to put out our strongest team and then reassess Monday before Solihull.
To paraphrase Jim - if it's not broken, don't fix it. Managed before with Sat/Tues without making changes for the sake of it. Can't afford to be too clever with squad rotation, but couple of players have done very well from the bench and almost demand a start.
Very hard to say to Ryan (Croasdale) you're starting with how well the midfield 3 are doing. May be some changes, if people pick up knocks. Sounds like a couple are carrying knocks / niggles and have missed a bit of training, but the ''core of the group'' is fine and 18 out of 19 should be fit.
One game at a time, but the 7 subs gives us increased options.

Glad we’re putting full strength out. Great opportunity to progress and get a decent draw on Monday. Tbh, I’d want to avoid the likes of Hull, Sunderland etc and get a low ranked team at home and progress as far as we can.
I know everyone has said it but I do feel it’ll be just our luck to get United away and be locked out of it.

Good chance of being on telly and we'd batter either of them. Agree with you on getting a big tie in round 3 and being locked out, be just our luck that.

If they all log on to COWS and buy a stream at £7.50 and we get half of it that's a £4billion warchest for Jim to spend in January.
It'll be just our luck for Sky to show it and we only make half a million.

Am I the only one worried about today? They're a better team than their recent results.
