Can't shake the feeling that we'll get beaten, I can see us having a lot of possession but struggling to find a way through and them being a bit more efficient with their chances. Won't be a disaster if that happens though, its early doors and our team hasn't quite clicked yet which seems a strange thing to say given how good we've been generally. Hope I'm wrong but this game won't define our season either way. --- We have some very good players and as things stand we are top of the League. That said we are not reaching our potential. Is there a lack of generalship in the team in that as the match progresses they do not manage to change how they are playing instinctively/collectively to make things happen differently. Is that because they are relatively new together or is it that they are trying to play as the manager has coached them and are reluctant to change things. We have had a lot of new players in. It takes time for them to gel. I have full confidence they will. They have shown in patches what they’re capable of.

Not confident for this one.
I’d probably take a draw if it was offered to us. Prove me wrong County!

I don't think they will sit in to take a point or nick it, they will attack and that will suit us, we seem to struggle breaking down 'scruffy' teams but this lot will have a go. 3-2 County.

We've got a very good group but I still think we're missing someone who provides that spark like Warby and Danny Lloyd did. I’m hoping Williams might be that person. We need to cut out the silly goals, but defence is always the area where a settled back 3/4 takes a little time to come together, and get used to working with each other. This is particularly pronounced when the players are learning a new system at the same time as getting used to playing alongside each other. I’ve no big concerns when we’re going forward. Kitching offers pace, Rooney creativity and Bennett is there for the outlet ball and that’s all working well.

Any team that comes at us will get spanked.
Tuesday will prove this..

I am concerned. We will outplay Solihull 14 corners to their three 20 shots to their 2. Result 0-2.
Hope I am wrong though and we win but we badly need to be more creative in midfield and more dynamic and ruthless up front.

Have you seen the Solihull squad? They must be paying well, Jamie Ward, Adam Rooney, Stephen Gleeson and Jimmy Ball in there.

I think when Williams is fit playing on the left and C Jennings can go on the right is when we’ll be at our strongest and hopefully Jennings can offer more to the team.

Is this Palmers 100th game for us? Might also be Hinchliffes 200th too, or sure that'll be the week after. I know both landmarks are this week or so. This is what i reckon and is backed up with Leo's spreadsheet. Palmer makes his 100th appearance against Solihull and Hinchliffe should make his 200th appearance against Weymouth. However the club appears to have different figures for Ben as they said he made his 150th appearance against AFC Fylde on 3rd September 2019 whereas myself and Leo thought he made his 150th appearance against Nuneateon at the end of the previous season - based on that we appear to be 9 games out somehow.
Other milestones this season should be Adam Thomas (150 apps), Jordan Keane (100 apps) and Nyal Bell (100 apps).

Tough game this one to call. If we turn them over then I can’t see anyone stopping us. Draw wouldn’t be a bad result.

We’re at home and want to win promotion. Three points please, regardless if it’s early days or the first real test.

all clubs in our league will have a different squad from last season, this settling down thing is the same for all of em. we will not go unbeaten at home all season either with a possibility of one team doing the double over us and still end up being champions. tomorrow will not be a season defining game either. for me i,ll be happy with 4 points from the next two home games and at least one clean sheet as well.

My heart says I'm hoping for one of those magic Tuesday night games where it all comes together finally and we go out and make a real statement and win comfortably, not like a 'fylde moment' as we've started better than that season but one of those games that really kick-start everything to show genuine contenders
My head says we still need to sort out where we want John Rooney to play and how get best out of Connor Jennings, along with cutting out daft goals conceded
Hopefully Kitching is back though for that balance to side and extra dimension he gives us
I'm going for 2-0 either way based on what I've said above
