Always sad to hear a legend of the game passing away. One of only 2 Englishmen that have won a World Cup, European Cup and League title medal.

Played in the 1st game I ever saw live. 20th April 1968, Man U 1 Sheff U 0. I was born on same day as the goalscorer, The Lawman celebrated his 21st birthday.
R.I.P. Nobby.

Does he still count as a celeb?

Des O’Connor. Does he still count as a celeb? I very nearly added it to the Yorkshire Ripper has died thread, but thought that would be a little too distasteful.
