Yes, a real prospect. It was the intelligence of his movement off the ball that set him apart as a player belonging in a higher league.. like Madden in that way.

I think we'll win by the odd goal which will make the last few minutes very uneasy knowing their record of late goals.

Obviously shrewd loan signings are a massive plus, but there is a negative when they eventually leave and you have to replace them. Bennett at Hartlepool and Walker & Rodney for us last season seem to be good examples. Then the new guy has to settle in and you're never quite sure what you've got until after a few games. Definitely a huge negative. Should Torquay get promoted they'd do well to replace Randell with a quality player (affordable for them) that can stand out in league 2.

I have been to Wembley and watched us lose to Peterborough, Bolton and Stoke. When we made it to Wembley again this time versus Rochdale despite offers of tickets I couldn’t go because My wife and I had been knocked down whilst visiting relatives in Stockport. WE WON!
Whoever I watch us on BT Sport we either lose or play badly so what am I going to do on Sunday?
I don’t like what the owners did to Jim and I am not sure that the present Management have the “nous” to strategically overcome attacking teams - think of the start of the second half last Tuesday against Dagenham in which situation I would have been happier had Jim been managing the situation.
BUT I STILL SUPPORT COUNTY AND WANT US BACK IN THE LEAGUE SO………
I shall not be Watching on Sunday.

Because a team finally had a good half an hour against us, you're not watching? Christ, just get your sheets dried, stick a bit of bacon on and get it watched man.

Jim was an excellent manager, one of the best, but let’s not pretend he wasn’t out foxed on occasions, Chorley in the playoffs, the last game of the season when we first had a sniff of the playoffs, we were beaten, Chorley away in the promotion season when we nearly blew the title, it’s football, sometimes you don’t get it right. There are lots of good managers in the league, the margins are very slim but there’s no reason to think Rusk is less capable than Jim in dealing with Torquay.

I think the fact that Rusk is currently the manger of the team with the longest unbeaten run of any team in the English top 5 divisions might just mean he has got a pretty good idea how to manage a team.

Will be interesting to see where both clubs are in the league when this game kicks off. Good chance we are 4th and they are 4 points behind Sutton.
12pm games on a Sunday are usually boring games, but hopefully this will be worth watching with a brew and bacon butty.... infact 12pm is a strange time on a Sunday for food, as it's neither breakfast or dinner.
What will the good folks on here be eating/drinking this Sunday whilst the game is on?

What will the good folks on here be eating/drinking this Sunday whilst the game is on? That is a very good question Bredders and one which deserves a considered response. Suffice to say for now there are multiple variables involved, not least the still-unconfirmed kick-off time of Young GeordieHatter's team's game over in Cheadle Hulme, and the also still-unconfirmed amount of strong European lager to be consumed Saturday night. I will say that your suggestion of a brew and a bacon butty stands as antepost favourite, though. 3/1 the odds and persuasive at the price.

I’m watching the game then on completion will have a delayed Full English with a mug of tea and toast with the family.
