Bowyer was always going back to Derby. Was part of the agreement they struck when he became caretaker.

Ridiculous!! Will be their fifth manager in six months! and if we lose in the PO and have a nightmare start to next season we might be looking for one again. its this instant success thats causing this and killing the game.

Equally, if we win the playoffs/title and make a fantastic start to next season, we might be looking for one again, as teams will be sniffing around.

Was expecting to see a backlash on their twitter with the announcement but nearly all of them are buzzing Seems crazy to me changing manager before the play-offs and that's before you consider he's taken them up to the table get there! Their recent form hasn't been good, but it's unfair to look at that in isolation. There's so much variance in football and by that logic every manager would disappear after 5/10 bad games (including Rusk).

Strange that the class of 92 are sacking managers left right and centre after they served under Ferguson for an extended period of time - and despite all they won, it wasn't always rosey.
It's embarrassing that on top of that, G.Nev has critised many sackings and the way owners should behave on Sky, yet he's pulling the trigger constantly..
