Do you not think Stott has given enough to the club already? Of course it would be nice if he gave some, but IO don't think he should be expected to.

Any plans to do anything before the Wrexham game? Just thinking the crowd will be a decent size (especially if we win tomorrow), and people will be harking back to being in the league. Be a good opportunity to collect from fans...

We need permission to do collections from the Club, but fans can donate at the Co-op stand which is next to the Cheadle End turnstiles.
The remaining calendars will be available at a heavily discounted price of £5. It would really help if fans could buy these, as every penny will go to the statue appeal.

Dynamic Duo Smash Statue Target ! September 5 2021 saw a significant double whammy achieved by County supporters Lydia Eames and Rick Ebbage. Earlier the determined duo had signed up to run the Stockport Hatters Half Marathon raising money in support of the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal. Sunday the 5th was D Day, and both took to the streets of Stockport and the scenic Trans Pennine Trail for the challenging 13.1 miler. Despite high temperatures that prevailed on the day our two heroes performed brilliantly Rick Ebbage finishing in 2.06,21 and Lydia Eames in 2.14.0. That left the fund raising on Lydia & Rick`s to do list and that was their second triumph as ,targeting £500 their appeal closed on a magnificent £705, which when added to the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal will take it beyond £11,000 The Supporters Cooperative would like to congratulate Lydia & Rick , and thank them and their supporters for this brilliant effort! The Danny Bergara Statue Appeal can be reached here:- www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/dannybergara?utm_term=bzbaGAmQN Calendars- Limited Number Left Now- £5 ! Our unique Football Season Fixture Calendar has sold really well enabling us to add just short of £1600 to the statue appeal so far. Big thank you then to everyone who has supported this effort, but we have a couple of dozen left which we are offering for £5 each. You can obtain one from outside the Cheadle End turnstiles where the Supporters Cooperative will be pre- match this Saturday. So seek us out and help us add even more to the statue appeal! Check Membership Status / Join Us. Finally, if you are a member please take a few moments to check your account at our membership web site, and update where necessary. Non- members can join via this route also! webcollect.org.uk/coopStockport County Supporters Cooperative

Outside the ground as well? Assume the club were asked and said no?

Outside the ground as well? Assume the club were asked and said no? We're looking to arrange a collection inside the ground for a home game this season. In discussions with the Club at the moment.
The next stage is to distribute our Danny tribute brochures to supporters at the Aldershot game.

I think a bucket per queue/between two queues on the way into a game with a big crowd, and you'd make at least a grand, probably more. Have a few inside the gate as well to sweep up. Get the club to announce it on the website before the game - on social media etc. Easy peasy. Also if you're doing the brochures, any collection needs to be as soon as possible after that / detailed in that so that people know what the collection is for and connect the dots. Need to build on everything you're doing.

We're looking to take the next available slot for collections at the game.
I am hoping the brochures help drive fundraising. There are some fantastic tributes to Danny as a manager and a review of his playing career. QR codes are included, which go straight through to our Just Giving page.
A friendly is also being discussed and if this can be arranged, it will provide the significant boost the fund requires to achieve what is a very ambitious target!

The Co-op and HTH are looking to distribute the Danny Bergara brochure before the game on Saturday, between 1pm and 3pm. This is a fantastic tribute to Danny with articles by Kevin Francis, Peter Ward and a review of Danny's career. We are a bit short on numbers. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated. Please can you drop me a PM or email to johngiles20@hotmail.com if you can help? Attachment Deleted
