Could the club help? Maybe for those buying tickets have an optional donation same for pay on the gate if that is even allowed anymore.

Many thanks desmond, much appreciated.
We will be doing a number of "Make us an offer" auctions and that would be a big help!
Will send you a PM with my email address.
It might seem a little uninspiring but how about good old bucket collections? If we get a decent home game at the beginning of the season there could well be a decent crowd there. We will be asking whether this can be done

Tony on Danny! The joint campaign by the Stockport County Supporters Cooperative and Help the Hatters got a great boost yesterday when County hero Tony Dinning chipped in with a handsome donation and a moving tribute to the man who brought him to Edgeley Park. It occurs to us that there are many County supporters who have all kinds of happy memories of when Danny was County Manager, and what he meant to them. If you are one of the many then we invite you to send us your memories of Danny to info@countysupporterscoop.co.uk , and we will publish in the campaign if we can. To make a donation and help the campaign go to:- www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/dannybergara?utm_term=bzbaGAmQN….or find out more via our dedicated website www.dannybergarastatue.co.ukStockport County Supporters Cooperative and Help the Hatters

We are talking with ex players. Would be good to get Danny's and Dave Jones' players on board for a legends game too!

Will there be collection points at the matches? It is a question we will ask the Club, but would be a big help if they agree

Will there be collection points at the matches? It is a question we will ask the Club, but would be a big help if they agree think it should be a must really. people are prepared to put their loose change in a bucket on match days but cannot be bothered to make a one off donation. they would do this for a decent amount of time and end up donating more than they previously would have done.

The lack of response to this is mind blowing.

The lack of response to this is mind blowing. not really. once the season gets underway and events are organised i can see the amount shooting up. the worst thing that could happen is that the appeal could lose its momentum once fans think they have done their part with the resources they actually have. give the pub a miss on matchdays, swerve an away game you were actually going to attend and donate the savings. however this is easier said than done.

The lack of response to this is mind blowing. 71 people have chipped in. 71. Mind blowing is being being restrained and polite.

The lack of response to this is mind blowing. 71 people have chipped in. 71. Mind blowing is being being restrained and polite. Just looked at the home page and 139 members have been online here in the last 24 hours along with 1265 guests... not sure what I've got to say about this, but seems mad that so few out of that number have bothered to get involved. I think matchday going fans will donate once the pre season friendlies kick off and maybe a big campaign to recognise this by the club, but agree it's weird how the online fans haven't really got behind this.
