Notts have matched, and Wrexham surpassed, our points total from last season with six and seven games to go respectively. I still think there’s a twist in the title race. Obviously a lot on the game at the Racecourse but I think Wrexham will be caught. Mad that both teams will comfortably smash past 100 points and probably both break the highest points record of 105, and still one of them might not go up.

Wrexham deserve to go up, but I would love it if somehow they don’t, because I’m childish and it will be objectively hilarious. I'm feeling very similar, and tbh Wrexham have more than done their time in non league. Their long suffering and loyal fans who stuck with them while in the doldrums deserve it, much like we did. That said the bandwagon jumpers who only care about Deadpool, I'd very much enjoy them suffering another heartbreak this season. That's where the humour exists for me.

The more mature part of my brain agrees that they have served their time & deserve to return. The less mature part of my brain say's feck 'em I'd love them to stay where they are for another 10 years, Never liked them when they were in the league & the media circle jerk will be insufferable when they get promoted. I also think they'll breeze through the next couple of divisions quicker than us, they seem to have got the knack now of buying players that suit their style & are already better equipped for league 2 now than we were when we went up last season. I'm praying for a miracle twist & Notts County pip them, a famous old cub with a largely inoffensive fanbase in a city that's a far better away day than the toilet that is Wrexham but it's looking like Wrexham's year & despite my dislike for them If i'm pushed, I'd rather a club like Wrexham come up than a Bromley or Boreham wood type of club.

I’m hoping we play neither next season, but I’d much rather go to Nottingham than Wrexham for a day out

Scunthorpe took 1750 to Notts County at the weekend, fantastic effort during their crap season. I can see them escaping relegation last game of the season in a dramatic finale.

Great effort by their fans whatever the ticket price. Think they have gone sadly. The whole place has gone and the football club is just reflecting that.

Parkinson looks like he’s been snapped mid-conversation there! “…so anyway, Ryan says to me ‘Rob and I have arranged for you and the guys to come to California in the summer.’ I says to him ‘I don’t think that’s a good idea, boss. We’ll either get dicked or Man U will send their academy players.’ But Ryan wasn’t having any of it. It’s cash in the bank I s’pose, but we might not even be a League outfit if we’re not careful and I don’t want the boys thinking about their jollies until we’re actually up…”

They aren't doing much wrong just yet...the climaxes of the documentaries keeps getting bigger. If Wrexham win this game, then everyone will be happy they won the World Cup.

Notts one up at Alty, Langstaff has scored his 40th of the season.
They’ll go top with a win, they’re playing tonight instead of Saturday as Alty are in the semis of the Buildbase/Isuzu at the weekend. Wrexham will have two games in hand.

The consistency of Notts and Wrexham is absurd isn't it. And Langstaff too, 40 goals already with so many games to spare is outstanding and I really wish we'd signed him.

That Notts Wrexham game in a few weeks is enormous. I really can’t see Wrexham losing it from here but their run in does appear slightly tougher.
If I start to get stressed about our situation, looking at those two battling it out soon calms me down.

Enormous but Wrexham could lose it and potentially top spot but still have it their hands to become champions. Sounds familiar....
