Oh hell, they’ve played Sweet Caroline on the pa at the end of the trophy final, I’ve still not got over them doing their best to destroy the celebrations after Dale by blasting all kinds of crap at us There's nothing good about the Wembley experience unless you win. And even then they do their best to ruin it. I'm going next week, but under protest. Always felt especially back in the mid 50,s that the wembley experiance was false and geared more to day trippers than fans who go week in week out to support one club where the days result is the only reason they trailed down there in the first place.

Hope they,ll be fine for the season after. Does that mean then they,ll have to start at the rock bottom and be tret like a pheonix club. Back in the NLN they seemed a proper local club that did not have that full non league feel about it like many of those little town or village clubs did.

Lots of 'RIP'-type responses to the announcement on Twitter, so they may even go bump

Shame about that. Didn't we sign Ash Williams from them?

Shame about that. Didn't we sign Ash Williams from them? Yes and Vernon Allatt started and finished his career with them. Anybody else.

according to wiki, Danny Glover (who must be a candidate for our worst ever player to play more than a couple of games) was their manager.
have a feeling that a couple of other NLN era players played for both - pretty sure Woolfe came from there.

Unfair on Glover, that. Had circumstances and tactics been different, he could have been a Lethal Weapon for us up front.

and even at 70whatever, he'd still be better for us than the one who played for Alan Lord...
