theyve got some aggressive fans. They wont be making it back to the efl any time soon This must be a recent development, Bury fans used to be mostly nice old ladies who spent most of the game knitting, I don't know what the world's coming to. Getting rid of the guillotine might not have helped.

The knitters went to AFC Bury, the cross stitchers to Bury, families divided, it’s a grudge that’ll take generations to sort now So you're saying there's a bit of needle between them?

How did nobody spot that. Even the shorts and socks clash.

I am sure that I remember reading years ago (back in the 80's or 90's maybe) that Torquay turned up at EP with a shirt that clashed with the County home kit. They didn't have an another kit with them and had to play in County's away shirts, and got punished by the league. I wasn't at the game so may be misremembering, but if I do recall correctly, I am sure someone on here would have been at the game.

Someone else can correct me, but fairly sure Torquay played in the red sovereign rubber kit. Matt Elliott comes to mind.

They must have turned up with a blue away kit, and been caught out buy our switch from mostly white to blue, can't really remember
