These kind of threads always have the danger of coming back to bite us on the arse but there’s virtually nothing to cling on to here. No improvement, no idea, nothing of any substance or sign of progress. We’re worse than we were a year ago. He might be a nice bloke or whatever but I don’t really care about that, he’s not paid to be a nice bloke. He’s paid to win games and he’s falling way short of the mark. Hard to see how he can survive even one more game.

Don’t forget though, it’s not about results; just culture. Obviously a winning culture wasn't to Wilson's taste. Fair play, he's definitely changed the culture.

Getting rid of Rusk while Wilson is still here is just a massive waste of money.

I don't think they will but I think the window's going to start closing for them to do it and still be able to salvage the season.
If they don't then Rusk better hope he pulls his finger out quick. First time we've heard boos inside the ground and one bloke gave him a mouthful.

Do the right thing Stott! You heard the fans- ‘sacked in the morning’ - get it done! Sent Wilson and McGee with him! Can’t watch this utter clueless invalid managing our team anymore!

Accrington still in play offs losing narrowly to league leaders Sunderland but managed 21 efforts away from home.

Time to cut our losses. Simple as that.

Don’t forget though, it’s not about results; just culture. A f*cking losers culture is what millions and millions of £ seems to get you 🥳 If I'd spent that much money to see my investment being repaid this way I'd be doing a 30 stretch right now.

Hard to see how he can survive even one more game. He shouldn't survive the evening. The side he inherited was good enough to win promotion, he failed and the players from that squad who are still here have gone backwards. The ones that have come in for five and six figure fees, who will cost us big money for the next 2 or 3 years, are also going backwards. We're absolutely dreadful to watch and there is nothing whatsoever to be optimistic about. Just bite the bullet and get it over with.

Rusk is absolutely the worst manager we’ve ever had at this point

Rusk is absolutely the worst manager we’ve ever had at this point If you factor in expenditure relative to the level we're at, he's definitely up there with the worst during my life time.

I would genuinely have more respect for Stott & Wilson if they said "you know what, we f*cked up... Jim is back and he can do it his way, because that has always bred results and progression"
What a delightful pipe dream that is.

The writing was on the wall at the end of last season following three home draws and then a home defeat to Hartlepool.
Only bringing in Quigley with no one in reserve was naive and a massive mistake. Letting Bennett go too, who scored a brace today.
It will be too expensive to sack Rusk and money waisted. I just wish Jim had access to the pot Rusk has got, I am convinced we would be back in the league now.
The answer to our problems is the lack of a decent No 9, so bring in a County hero. Someone who is always top scorer in the NLN and scored a hat-trick in a 6-0 win today. Glen Taylor should have been signed two years ago.
