I will repeat what I said the other day, right now I do not think it is overly dramatic to say the first priority of the board should be to bring a manager in who can avert the threat of relegation. In terms of its lack of goals and lack of resilience to overcome the smallest mishaps in each game, this team is playing like a relegation candidate.

I've not been on here all weekend so I'm sorry if I'm repeating anything that's already been said but for what it's worth my opinion is that for the 2nd of last season, Rusk lived off the back of all Gannon's hard work but now he's had time to get rid of the majority of Gannon players and brought his own players, playing his way he's being found out! How can a manager that's so defensive minded and has made sure that we have more than enough defenders and defensive midfielders get it so wrong that we've conceded 3 goals in a match 3 times in 7 games??
Enough is enough, he's trying to learn on the job but by doing so he's pretty much ruined the season before 10 games have been played. There is no silver lining on this massive black cloud we're on at the moment and I don't see what's going to change while he's still in charge.
As for Wilson, this is all your doing and you also need to go. I'm sure you'll have other projects you can jump ship and go and do but I'd love to hear your actual reasons for getting rid of Gannon midseason for an unknown, unproven manager at this level? Did anyone see Gannon getting the sack when he was outed? Were any fans actually starting threads saying "Gannon out" at the time? No!! All because poor little Simon Wilson wants to be the big I am at the club you got rid of Gannon. It's backfired, you've messed things up royally and you are also proving you are clueless about what to do next.
The club will benefit so much of the removal of the Simon's and it will also bring the fans closer together and stop us arguing about Gannon v Rusk factor. I am a big fan of Gannon as he's a club legend as both a player and manager but I'm not saying I want him to come back, I'm saying we need a manager that know's what he's doing, know's how to change things mid-game when needed and how to get the best out of the players. The sooner the better.

Simon Wilson will have looked at the forthcoming fixtures and will realise his and Rusk’s jobs are pretty safe.
For those who want Rusk out, if we beat Wrexham, then Notts County is the only difficult game of fixtures in the next dozen games. But beware we have a tough end of the season.
I think Rusk will survive the season unfortunately.

With the best will in the world I don't think anyone had Yeovil or Halifax as anything much above mid table so unless it's real cannon fodder we'll struggle against anyone. I was surprised we beat Maidenhead tbh

well looks like SR is staying(For Now)
If we lose on Saturday he will have a very uncomfortable experience (and so will the fans)
If we draw 0 0 he will have a very uncomfortable experience (and so will the fans)
if we win 1 0 and play $#it he will have a very uncomfortable experience (and so will the fans)
So the only thing left is beat them and play well ( not going to happen )
I will share my pain or joy( not going to happen )with JK on Strawberry until this season gets going
Going to need my £s for my gas bill .....me thinks

I wonder if even Jon couldn’t bring himself to whitewash what he saw.

Why is he still here for f*cks sake?
He's absolutely buzz killed the start of the season and what could have been a day to relish on Saturday.
He'll get stick on Saturday and rightly so. People will say it's awful for people to have a pop at him etc, the pay off he receives will console him.
Shite manager, shit coaching staff. Off you pop.

The lad who did the interview after Halifax was on co commentary for Maidenhead so I wouldn't be surprised if some deal had been struck between the 2 of them and the club so that he could 'do the next post match' interview?

I should imagine JK just needed to get off quickly after the final whistle or something.

I am rota’d in to work at 4pm on Saturday. It’s usually not a problem for me to come in a couple of hours later but this week I’m really not arsed. The only thing I’m bothered about missing is what will be the biggest crowd at EP (for a football match) for years. I’ll still try and see the game but I can’t be arsed with the toxicity.

I should imagine JK just needed to get off quickly after the final whistle or something. Given that JK used the word embarrassing, something I've never heard him say, perhaps they didn't want the first question to be "well Simon that was embarrassing wasn't it"
