I was slagged off to f*ck from day one. I told you from day one. Rusk is a total and utter con man. A kids coach playing kids football. One of the worst manager's in our history. If he's not gone by Monday morning, I will not be attending another game this season.
Simon Rusk will be trying his best atmosphere, he was offered and took a job, but it just isn't working out at the moment. He's got a great record with youth development at Brighton and will have a good career in football, but maybe in a different role to the one he has now.
I was absolutely gutted about Jim's dismissal and no one will convince me that was the right decision, but let's leave out the personal stuff with Simon Rusk.
Agree, there is no place here for the personal stuff, but purely on observational basis and wanting the best for my club, both Rusk and Wilson should be issued with cheques TONIGHT, and relieved of their duties. No nastiness, just sound business.

It's about the same time on the train from work for me. I'm still thinking of going, just so I can see for myself how bad it is It’s about an hour for me. I’ll probably go depending how I feel. We tend to be far better away, and it’s somewhere I’ve not been to yet. I’ve been, it’s a dump

Only 1 will go and that will be SR. Wilson won’t take the rap for this. To be fair though he had given the manager all the tools to deliver and he hasn’t.

Walter Galbraith and Jimmy Melia we’re previously the worst managers of County managers of more than a few games. SR with resources available has a better record but he is right up there. Confusion for players seems to be his by word. He plays square pegs in round holes He plays players when they are unfit He doesn’t instil a spirit in the players Good players have got worse. He hasn’t improved the players or created a team

We know that we've spent the equivalent of a small country's GDP to become an atrocious team but we don't know how much of that expenditure is Rusk's doing. Like how much say he gets over the players that come in or whether he wanted this army of backroom staff

Well according to Wilson he and his team identify a list of targets, pass it over to Rusk and then he chooses who he wants. That kind of set up isn’t unusual with a lot of clubs.
Unless he is telling lies…..

Thank God the majority of fans are starting to realise just how inept this guy is, evident from today’s game! The feeling reverberated around the whole ground, he’s clueless. Rusk Out Wilson Out

Also why is he playing Riakhy? He reported ill just before the game but f*ck it lets play him anyway and watch him put in a well off the pace performance and waste a 1st half sub on him. Today should be pulled apart by Jon Keighren and proper answers should be given but I bet the boiled egg will pussyfoot around and make the red card a factor. Further evidence of the ineptitude.

That date in Jan 2020 one of the craziest in SCFC history . The owner has ever right who he wants as his manager . No problem with that although I don’t think 4th and bedding in new players wasn’t a great platform for an existing manager known to always improve second half of a season . I thought the timing in the Pandemic , no crowd , hide it under the carpet , culture all we can say sucked . And I’ve not heard anyone away from Stockport say anything other than a most bizzare decision Mistakes get made . Some more expensive than others . But it’s time Mr Stott to put it right whilst you have a paying public because County fans won’t stand for this clueless brand of football any longer . Somebody has posted McGhee and Rusk as his assistant . FFS hopefully a joke but I’m not so sure
Any new manager starts with impact . With Rusk we started with a brand of boring 0-0s which ultimately cost us . We ended the 20-21 season with a whimper . We have started this season with a whimper . How long must we wait to witness a brand of attacking purposeful football . Again today we played most of the time sideways and backwards and then into touch .
It was 6400 v Grimsby . 5200 today . 4000 next home game ?
My concern is that Wilson wants a yes man . I want an experienced manager at our level who plays with a brand of proven attractive football . Best sides I’ve seen at EP in recent years are Fylde and Dagenham so I guess that’s a Challinor or McMahon but I doubt either will cow tail to Wilson so here lies the problem . Or possibly John Coleman at Accrington ? I would rather watch SCFC with slow organic growth with honest endeavour than this tripe we are rolling out in 2021 and manage expectations accordingly . Rusk wasn’t and never will be a manager and an out of the box idea that’s failed miserably

Any chance JK and Wilson can re-do that latest video now?

Unless he is telling lies….. Can’t comment on that, but what I do know is that Wilson is very much of the opinion that possession is the key to good results. We had 60% today, and got reamed. I can only assume it was because we had the wrong kind of possession, so the first question at interview for any new manager must surely be “Can you tell the right kind of possession from the wrong kind of possession?”

I'm not sure who is deciding the tactics however it's not been working for quite a while now. If it's SW imposing his power is this the reason Jim Gannon was jettisoned? I'm not so sure. The pointless passing across the back 3 to the patsy of the day Barclay made me think that the statistician has more influence on our tactics than any of the of the Assistant Managers. What do they do exactly and for that matter what do the players do at Carrington. I wanted Rusk to succeed but that performance today was a new low. We were appallingly bad for a long time before the penalty - no doubt the focus will be on that but he will be a poorer man if he tries to blame the official for what happened over the 90 minutes. I think he should go but I feel SW should go too. I reckon his influence over the first team is unhealthy and his obsessions regarding stats are clearly reflected in Rusk's format (he only has the one). I've always questioned whether a Manager can turn it around before criticising and sadly I don't think he can.

Rusk wasn’t and never will be a manager and an out of the box idea that’s failed miserably I haven’t often agreed with you but it’s spot on. Disregard the suggestion of McGhee with Rusk as assistant as that was from County blue forever - it doesn’t count.
