Good lord. Grimsby had 1200 and filled the Railway, so I'd have thought 1700 would the full Railway end and the two blocks of the Pop Side, so unless they're moving people out of the other blocks then I don't see how they'd be able to give more. Yep. Nor should we give them any more. That's their allocation, they've filled it (which is impressive), that's the end of it. No doubt there will be a lot of them in the Cheadle End. Stand by for lots of heads bobbing up to check who blinks in the home end when Wrexham score. The concern is having lots of Wrexham in our end and the trouble that would inevitably cause. Giving them the Pop Side would reduce that risk, but then you are almost giving away home advantage (for what that’s worth these days)!

Great support.
They're going to come and absolutely take the piss aren't they?
They look like they've got more right in a 2 months than we have in 18 months.
They're going to proper rub our noses in it and I can't blame them. We've had idiots trying to start a rivalry with them all summer.
You reap you what you sow.

If we are going to give them a bigger allowance then I'd rather they had the main stand and railway end instead of the full popside. This way, we would have fans all the way along the pitch and not just to the edge of the 18yard box. The main stand is also traditionally quiet, so would mean the only noise is from the CE for the whole of the pitch, whereas they'd have behind a goal and a complete side of vocal fans under a iow roof.

The Wrexham fans who want a ticket have got one, there'll be loads on their message board asking for spares but that's all propaganda pretending they could have sold twice as many, it's absolute bollocks and as for any in our end? There might be a handful but nothing more, they're not Man Utd.

It suggests to me that they've been buying for all their mates, they've not done that 2 tickets at a time, it does piss me off though that they're so full of it after their investment and we're so "same old County" I just don't get why things have gone so sour.

I remember when away fans used to have the end of the Main Stand near the Railway End. Probably as late as 95/96? Everton definitely had some in there, seem to weirdly remember a game against Notts County around that time too with away fans in there.

If it were Leeds, Brum, Stoke, Sunderland or a club of their ilk it may be a concern. Unless Wrecsam have quadrupled their away support in the last season I think 1700 is a decent amount. I cannot see there being too many in the CE to be honest.

Wrexham didn't sack a club legend who was doing a great job and replace him with a youth team coach who brought along with him an assistant who was despised at every club he's been at for like the last 15 years just because they used to drink at the same coffee shop.
Our attendances so far this season have been absolutely class. It's not the fans' fault it's gone sour.
I said I won't go as long as Rusk is still there. I know in my heart of hearts I can't swear by that though because I support the club and what Mark Stott is trying to do.
But it brings about so much disillusionment to know that we've got a pair of clowns like Wilson and Rusk running the show.

They got rid of Keates who was a former club captain and had two spells as manager and was very popular. Something similar there…

Something similar there… As wnm said, them getting rid of Keates was probably the best early move they could have made. They thought he was nice bloke but a crap manager who used to come out with the same boring cliches. There's your similarity...
