Either we sign some decent players this week that will get us out of this goal drought. Or Wilson, Rusk and co have been dismissed. I am not bothered if they stay and turn around our fortunes, but have little confidence that they can. But either way something has to happen starting tomorrow. I am waiting for a BIG announcement please. Mark Stott, please show the supporters you intend to do something to sort out our dismal form immediately. We have now become the laughing stock of this division, it is time to turn it around. Just wondering if there is any reason you couldn't have added this, or your other post, into one of the however many posts on this topic already?

Banky. Do you think we will instantly climb the table by getting a new manager?
Firstly unless they all walk away, it will cost us a lot of money to pay them all off. So maybe a player or two that will transform our season, add a spark and get us winning matches maybe a cheaper option.
Whatever it is we need action this week. It was clear after Dagenham that things in the camp were not right and this has been emphasised with every match since and nothing conclusive to make us an attacking force needed to win matches has been done. It won’t happen overnight. We need someone or two who will kick start our season before it’s too late.
I am disappointed to be writing this way but something has to be done with the current predicament we now find us in. I would be happy to say well done after a win every week wouldn’t you. But looking at what I see every week I am nervous every time the players walk out. I am certain that some of the players we have signed since Jim left are not what we needed and so it has proved.

The lack of a number 9 is the killer blow, because it’s like losing 3 players with Madden and Reid unable to play together effectively, they need someone to feed off. After we lost 5 on the bounce under Jim, we signed Rodney and Walker and the team was transformed overnight culminating in a spectacular Boxing Day win over Halifax, the team went from potential relegation candidates to playoff contenders. I’m not sure what happens next to the club but it’s incredibly sad and depressing what we has happened to us.

I'd honestly expected us to be fully set up to play without a big 9, given how Rusk wants to play balls to feet. Quigley isn't a back to goal forward like Bennett in any event. But we've no intensity with the ball on the floor.

Heard he will get Saturdays game Its standard form normally to make sure a new manager starts with a game they can win. Hopefully the new man will start a week tomorrow.

Will be interesting to see which potential candidates are in the stands.
Atmosphere against Yeovil was horrible and this promises to be even more toxic.

If that’s true, it’s ludicrous. If we had a caretaker manager in charge, we have a ready-made excuse for losing…in transition and all that. Ok, we might not lose whoever’s in charge but if we do, I cannot even begin to contemplate the atmosphere around EP and Wilson will get it too. And if we win…what then? Accept that things have turned around and the last few weeks/months were just a blip and all will be fine from here on in? Not a chance. Do it now.

Rusk is clearly not up to it and has not shown he has the ability to turn it round. A humiliating defeat this weekend is the perfect excuse to part ways with him. If we bore Wrexham in to a draw or a scrappy 1-0 win it makes it very hard to sack him. I don’t buy this “could be a bounce for us” because Rusk hasn’t shown he has that in him. So then what? Limp on until the next humiliation? Let’s just put him out of his misery now and all move on.

I think it's probably fair if so. Let's see what this Manager and these so called quality players are made of. Let's see how much it matters.
If they can't raise their game to save his bacon and/or he find a way, then the entire lot can f*ck off as far as I'm concerned.
