No, I don't want us to lose. If we do, it'll be another step nearer the club taking action to get things back on track so it'll have fulfilled some sort of purpose. If, against all the odds, we win it'll be good to walk away from EP with that glow you get from any win, especially against one of the old league teams in front of a decent crowd.

I know a few that won’t go because the football is turgid under Rusk. They are ST holders too. I will be there Saturday but really, really not looking forward to it.

pre cocaine at football matches, I'd definitely have gone. I've seen us getting embarrasingly battered with a crap manager in charge on multiple occasions (FFS it was a weekly occurance under Ablett!), and I'll no doubt see it again.
However, seeing us getting beat 4 or 5 nil with it massively kicking off / fights in the stands after the 3rd goes in, and players / backroom staff needing to be escorted into the dressing room for their safety? Not so much appeal there. I'll probably end up going anyway, but it's not a week I'll be fighting hard if my wife says we really need to spend the day at the Trafford Centre / doing some DIY / visiting Afghanistan instead...

I don’t want County to lose. I don’t want Rusk . I don’t rate him one iota . I don’t want Wilson. I don’t rate him one iota. The football is the worst I’ve seen in many a year
What do you suggest . Head in the oven or an overdose ?

It’s feels liking how going to watch an execution might feel… I know it’s going to be horrible but I’m intrigued. And no, I wouldn’t go to watch an actual execution.

It could definitely have a Kidderminster vibe to it.

I want us to win and go in a run of wins. County is more than Simon Rusk, Simon Wilson or Jim Gannon.
Anyone wanting us to lose is not a real fan.

I want us to lose so we pull the trigger on this clown. Losing on Saturday and having a new gaffer in before the following game, with new ideas and a clean slate for some of this group we have. Yeah, I'll take that. In an ideal world he'd have gone over the weekend or today. The fact there's been no announcement tells me he'll likely be in the dugout at 3pm on Saturday.

I want what's best for the club, and that's without Simon Rusk as manager.

The last time I felt like this before game was the Tuesday night victory over Chorley which was the catalyst to the championship season. Hope the same happens again but can't see it. If Wrexham do put five or six past us, it would be Stott and Wilson getting what they deserved for the way they treated Jim.

I genuinely think he will get out of this one. We have a decent run of games up to new year after Saturday. Weymouth (a) Aldershot (h) FA Cup 4Q Round Notts (a) Barnet (h) Dover (a) FA Cup 1st Round Bromley (h) Woking (a) King's Lynn (h) Wealdstone (a) Eastleigh/FA Cup 2nd Round Torquay (a) FA Trophy 3rd Round Alty (h) Solihull (a) Alty (a) Notts away, Bromley home and Torquay away being the only fixtures I'd perhaps not expect 3 points from. Of those you would expect (taking cup games out): Weymouth (a) Win Aldershot (h) Win Notts (a) draw Barnet (h) Win Dover (a) Win Bromley (h) Draw as a minimum Woking (a) Win King's Lynn (h) Win Wealdstone (a) Win Eastleigh (h) Win Torquay (a) Draw/loss Alty (h) Win Solihull (a) Draw/loss Alty (a) Win That’s what he’ll be using to justify keeping his job, in his eyes we’ve had a “tough start” and after Wrexham we’ll be cruising...

I can’t believe we are actually going into the Wrexham game with Rusk and Wilson still in place…
Winning on Saturday won’t fix the problems, it will merely put off the inevitable.
Losing…? In front of 2,000 Wrexham fans… the place willl be hostile in the extreme, and it’s fine if you are a transient employee, but for us fans? that shit stays with you for life.
