North Walian in peace here.
Just reading this thread, I think some of you are overestimating us to be honest. We're still a long way from the finished article and I could easily see you doing a number on us.
Grimsby away last Tuesday was very bad, we got completely overrun in midfield and struggled to match their physicality.
Dagenham on Saturday was a massive improvement first half, probably the best we've played this season. Second half was the polar opposite and we were clinging on by the end with the keeper and woodwork to thank for 3 points.
Could quite easily see you getting a result and it being the catalyst for your season to get going.
A big away following is usually a safe bet Wrexham won't turn up too.
Looking forward to a good game and hopefully no off-field bother to ruin things, but I won't hold my breath on that one!

At the moment the difference in mood between the two sets of fans couldn't be further apart, you've had years of crap and suddenly you're the centre of attention and signing quality players, we also had years of crap but a club legend turned it round and lifted the whole place. Then we got our long awaited investment and we were in dreamland yet we've managed to mess it up in true County style, we might be overestimating you but in the last week we've seen Yeovil and Halifax brush us aside, if we were playing Dover we wouldn't be confident.

Why do think you'll lose to Wrexham seen them live on BT Sport and to be honest for all they've spent there not very good. Like youselves bought league 1 players on big contracts unfortunately they also have a manager who doesn't understand this league. Like yourselves playoffs at best. I think either Dagenham or Notts County will win it.

To be fair we start most games quite well and if we could drive home that advantage when we're on top you never know, what tends to happen is we go close a few times without really testing the keeper then they hit us on the break and score with their first shot, we then capitulate.

I want us to win and go in a run of wins. County is more than Simon Rusk, Simon Wilson or Jim Gannon. Anyone wanting us to lose is not a real fan. Think that sums it up for me also. We support County and not whoever is in the managers chair. Those who want a defeat on saturday to get rid of rusk without any knowledge of who his replacement would be need to use their heads more. We should have learned our lesson years ago when some of us wanted jim out and were rewarded after that mansfield farce. What did we get, bloody kalazic. This time it will more than likely be rusk mark 2 from say crystal palace instead of any name fans actually want.

Could change the future of the NL where other teams follow their leads instead of cash being the king.

Could well be a case of who turns up on the day and doesn’t bottle it in front of a big crowd. First goal is huge I think.

I genuinely think he will get out of this one. We have a decent run of games up to new year after Saturday. Weymouth (a) Aldershot (h) FA Cup 4Q Round Notts (a) Barnet (h) Dover (a) FA Cup 1st Round Bromley (h) Woking (a) King's Lynn (h) Wealdstone (a) Eastleigh/FA Cup 2nd Round Torquay (a) FA Trophy 3rd Round Alty (h) Solihull (a) Alty (a) Notts away, Bromley home and Torquay away being the only fixtures I'd perhaps not expect 3 points from. I wouldn't fancy us to win any of them at the moment, quite apart from shipping goals for fun we just don't create anything up front. Even set pieces, Reidy's goal at Maidenhead aside, have regressed to their standard from the middle of last season.

No, I think the vast majority of us (on here anyway) see no value in letting Rusk have another game in charge. It helps nobody. To hope for a loss at weekend just to see Rusk leave is a peculiar idea, to me anyway. Whilst a win will paper over any cracks, it is 3 points on the board. Any decision to sack Rusk should be being taken with results as they already are, we're too far gone for reprieves and performance plans.

I totally agree, the performances and the style of football we play have been awful and Rusk has had over eight months to improve us and we are going backwards. We have good players but poorly managed and handled. Time is up for Rusk for me, but have to say he will remain in charge for a long time yet.

I think what I'd do in this hypothetical is haggle upwards - replace being stuffed by Wrexham for a 7-0 (SEVEN) win, and replace sacking Rusk for booting that Wilson out, as a bold opening gambit. If they drove a hard bargain I'd let them negotiate me down to a narrow win and trade Wilson's P45 for Rusk's. If you don't ask you don't get. As it is I voted for Bounab.

Provided you keep us quiet for the first 20 minutes, you'll be fine. Even if we do go a goal up, it's very unlikely that we'll look to extend our lead. Also, (and I'm not condoning this in the slightest) it won't be long before our fans are on the backs of the players and manager, which will only play into your hands.

I don't think the players are as good as we (and they) like to think they are. There are obvious exceptions such as Madden (who suffers as a result of the overly defensive formation) but the majority, particularly the central defenders and defensive midfielders, don't have the skill set to play the system Rusk has imposed on them. Whilst it's staggering that Rusk does nothing to change the system and formation and has nothing like a plan B in reserve for when it goes wrong why is it that the players, who apparently care about the Club so much, don't do something about it? Or do they take pleasure in being serenaded with "we're f##### shit"? Whatever the issue it is time for Rusk to say it like it is. If it's down to him say so. If it's down to others say who. If he doesn't have the good grace to say so he should depart.
