Very possible he'll get Wrexham game. Another wasted week and game then. It’s clearly not going to work out long term so let’s just end it - it can’t be doing him any good either and if it gets nasty again on Saturday he’ll go out with the ultimate low.

I think the saddest part on that is that everyone at the Halifax game was there and ready to give him a chance. There was a few mumblings at the home game of Rusk Out/Gannon's Blue and White Army but as soon as he stepped on that pitch at Halifax he had a loud rendition of his name. The negativity from Yeovil didn't carry over at all, and then we served up that performance. I am not so sure he will get that benefit of the doubt again next Saturday..

That’s exactly my point as well mate. It will be toxic if we’re poor again - which is all we tend to be.

Nobody had knives out for him. Big cheers and singing his name and then we were served up that nonsense. Going a goal down on Saturday will be grim. 2000 Wrexham fans bouncing around won't be pleasant either.

A lot of stuff on social media to suggest there'll be a lot of Wrexham fans in with our lot as well. Potential for some absolute scenes on Saturday.

The atmosphere will be horrible, why risk that?

The heads bobbing up to check for anyone celebrating in the home end when we go a goal down is always a personal highlight. There's so much potential for it to be utter chaos all day long.

In the past when we've been rubbish there's always been an acceptance of our situation, this time it's created a lot more anger as it's cost millions to become so bad while sacking a legend along the way, Saturday could be problematic.

More entertaining than what's happening on the pitch, so at least there's that.

It’s clearly not going to work out long term so let’s just end it - it can’t be doing him any good either and if it gets nasty again on Saturday he’ll go out with the ultimate low. I've always felt sympathy for anyone losing their job however he does himself few favours by sticking to a system when it's clearly not working. None of our defenders or defensive midfielders are completely comfortable on the ball, they telegraph their passes and more often than not under-hit them. They fail to appreciate that our tackle free approach doesn't include our opponents. We are turgid whilst our opponents are invariably invigorated. Our opponents always appear to have far more men on the pitch than we do. We know that if the opposition score we won't win, the midfield free set up will remain and we will defend defend defend and hope to catch one on the break. I could understand rigidly relying on a system if it was entertaining and brought out the best in our players. Unfortunately it's the opposite with square pegs all over the pitch. Why did we sign Whitfield and Walker? On quite a few occasions this season we've know from halfway through the first half that the opposition have us sussed. He has done nothing to rectify the problem. He has yet to win a game after going behind. It's not surprising when we don't look like we care if we win or not. What goes on at Carrington.
