I thought we'd established that camps is injured and out for a month with his shoulder Good job we have plenty of midfielders as its 3 out for the game and another collar who is only going to play a small part in it. With saturday coming soon its the smaller the part he plays better it is for me. |

I thought we'd established that camps is injured and out for a month with his shoulder It's still a bold move to bring him back to cover a one month injury, he won't even start when Croasdale is fit, he probably won't even start tonight. When we sent him on loan to get first team football for the whole season, something else has changed. I wasn't at the forum but Gibbo has alluded to the fact that DC mentioned him only getting small minutes in Rochdale's last couple of friendlies, this coupled with a unused sub appearence on Saturday (in a game Rochdale looked f*cking awful in by the way from bits I saw). We may have wanted to pull the plug and maybe get him out somewhere during the season (NL window open until March). Killed two birds with one stone that he maybe able to stay here for a few weeks and cover while Camps, Croasdale and even that McDonald who DC seems to want to give a chance too are not fit. |

Hinchliffe Smith Jones Touray Rydel Horsfall Pye Bryne Wright Knoyle Msh Richardson Collar - coming back from long injury Sarcevic - coming back from slight knock Johnson Powell Mee Evans Madden Olaofe Barry - took a knock but should be okay That's 21 (20 if we didn't bring CJ back) players to choose from for tonight and we're allowed 20 all together (11 start and 9 on the bench) so it doesn't leave much room for any more injurys and we wouldn't be able to fill the bench and we would have to go quite strong tonight which challinor/the club may not want to risk because we have so many injurys as it is Sam said we would find out post match on the situation so I guess we will just have to wait until then for official news |

This injury/fitness situation is becoming a bit of a joke now.
Be good if we could get to hear Challinor's thoughts on it all and whether he is totally happy with the fitness training and conditioning currently in operation.
I realise every team gets them but it seems almost a constant now and is especially concerning so early in the season.
There seem to be quite a lot of other clubs around with more limited resources,definately inferior facilities and less staff, who don't seem to suffer as many injuries as we do?

A well-placed colleague with Harrogate connections is concerned about us taking Luke Armstrong. Wrexham are thought to be involved as well but he seems to think our name is in the hat for him too. Said it last week but I'd love to see him here.
Apparently some Harrogate fans think they'll get £500k for him, which is ludicrous. There was something like £800k spent by all teams on all players a couple of years ago, the majority of teams didn't spend anything on a player.

Said it last week but I'd love to see him here. Apparently some Harrogate fans think they'll get £500k for him, which is ludicrous. There was something like £800k spent by all teams on all players a couple of years ago, the majority of teams didn't spend anything on a player. Didn't we sell his Dad for £1.6m!! |

Hopefully Alun can twist his arm in our favour if we really are after him. He would be perfect for us. I'm a cynical b*stard, but I have to admit I am not having it that Challinor honestly sat in the recruitment meetings saying he was happy not to have a strong/powerful striker option until October and to completely change how we play for it. I'm pretty sure he's always played with one so why would he change it up when it's reaped dividends for him. |

Proven at this level over multiple seasons and scoring 1 in 3 in a shit side. Also has a plethora of clubs after him which will drive the price up similar to us with Tanto and Gillingham. |

Proven at this level over multiple seasons and scoring 1 in 3 in a shit side. Tanto was 150k + add ons back to millwall Wasn't madden 150k? Tbh I'd take him whatever its not my money and if he helps us get promoted it's worth it and I've liked Armstrong for a while. |

There is no one now available at our level who is better at present, is there? Maybe, but not available without an offer, Andy Cook and he at 32 is five years older. Luke can play with Karl too! Offer a realistic sum with separate add on fees for Appearances, Goals, Assists and Promotion to One and then the Championship, if he is still with us.

We'd be silly to not be enquiring about him at the least. Wootton said at the courtyard he was a few weeks ahead of schedule but even when he's fully fit we don't want to risk overworking him.

Would be a real statement of intent, fill the gap nicely whilst Wootton is out but could also form a fearsome duo once Wootton is back. Talk of 500k is ridiculous though, 250k tops.
