Away fans are going to moan about this. Quite rightly too really, one of their biggest fixtures of the season, potentially a relegation decider for them and we’ve not even put home tickets on sale. Massive miss-step by the club in my opinion.

Massive miss-step by the club in my opinion. More important is it’s a promotion decider for us and we should get as many home fans in as possible. I don’t want a full away end if we’re desperate for 3 points.

I get that but Hartlepool are known for a good away following, we didn’t even open up the railway end against Halifax last season, so why now? As big a game as this is for us, we have a responsibility to make sure away fans can get a fair crack at following their team. Imagine if the roles were reversed, we’d be absolutely fuming.

Massive miss-step by the club in my opinion. I don't understand your post? Why is it a miss step by the Club? County have put home tickets on sale for Rochdale. There are only a handful of tickets left in the Cheadle, Main Stand and the Pop Side. www.stockportcounty.com/match-day-tickets/ Will Rochdale sell that many? It was looking very bleak for them, 2 wins and a draw have helped, but if they don't take 6 points in their next two home games, it is pretty much game over for them. They won't be interested in this fixture in big numbers. Why should the Club risk leaving 1,000 seats unsold, when they can be sold to County fans? My only concern is County fans in yellow block being moved. Have they been consulted?

I’m talking about Hartlepool, Rochdale I’m less annoyed about because as you say you’d assume their allocation hasn’t been bought up.

Agree Hartlepool is more contentious and could open us up to retaliatory action? Rochdale is definitely a good decision by the Club. I just can't see them bringing 2,000, especially as avoiding relegation looks a massive long shot.

Nah, f*ck 'em. Anyone else would do the same. Our responsibility is to give teams X amount of tickets as a minimum which we will adhere to, it's our ground, we need the points and we should take any advantage necessary.

I suspect we are still catering for their normal away numbers. I take your point about trying to be fair to away clubs… but when it’s potentially a massive game for us I think the club are doing exactly the right thing. Don’t forget the Hartlepool game can be streamed.
