After that shower of shite performance on Tuesday night, then that was a great read Glad you enjoyed it mate. I’m loving writing and taking photos of the walk just as much as the walking itself!

Ian Brown, Jonathan Baker and Ed Chadwick are all backing County to bounce back with three points this afternoon. Let’s hope they’re right, and we’re guaranteed to still be top of League Two by 3pm regardless of how Mansfield get on at Walsall. Prenton Park hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for the Hatters in recent years, though. We’ve only won one of our last twelve visits in the league. thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/tranmere-v-county

I don’t even want to think about that Prenton Park pummeling this morning, let alone write about it. So I’m not going to. It’s my website. There’s got to be a perk or two for the editor along the way. Instead, I’m simply going to upload my photos from yesterday, pinch an article from the copy of the Tranmere fanzine Give Us An R which I purchased outside the ground (with their permission obviously), and get back to hiding underneath my duvet. Which is what our back four did in Birkenhead… thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/a-gushing-article-on-connor-jennings

I have absolutely no idea how we’ll get on at Priestfield tonight. I could argue a decent case for County winning the game, and losing it, which means it’ll probably be a draw. The realist in me says that wouldn’t be a bad result, if we then beat Swindon on Saturday. Jon Keighren, Ed Chadwick and Ian Brown are all backing County to win narrowly this evening. thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/gillingham-v-county

County didn’t manage to nick a winner in Kent on Tuesday night, but at least we looked a lot more solid at the back after conceding seven goals in the previous two games. Certainly a positive result to build on, and if we can beat Swindon at Edgeley Park on Saturday, that’ll be a decent week in my opinion. Matt from Gills In The Blood and Graham Allsopp reflect on Tuesday night’s 0-0. thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/gillingham-0-county-0

County fan Dave Schofield and Max Stringer, one of the regulars on The Loathed Strangers Podcast, reflect on Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Edgeley Park. Unfortunately another two big points dropped, added to the two we left behind in Kent four days earlier. thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/county-0-swindon-0
