I had absolutely no recollection to f them dropping into Non League, had to look it up! One of a few teams to go down and come straight back albeit through the play offs IIRC. Gutted when I saw this season's fixtures for the first time. From my time working at Filton and living in Weston super Mare during the 1980's, I'm still in touch with my best mate from this period of my life who is a massive Bristol Rovers fan and will be at the game next month. It would have been brilliant for me to have them first game so I could catch up with Chris again. As it is, I've personal reasons for wanting to do Memorial Day this year so I'm coming over for that and the Cambridge game. Say hello if you see me with my Spanish flag.

Well, the Pop Side’s shut, the lift in the Cheadle End ain’t working, and County fans are still receiving counselling after the trauma of trying to buy Blackpool away tickets this week, but I’m sure we’re all very much looking forward to being back inside Edgeley Park this afternoon for the first time since April. Stoke are the visitors, and we’ve got pre-match build-up from Nick Lee, Russ Johnson and Ian Brown. thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/county-v-stoke

Does anyone know if there's a stream for today's match?

Does anyone know if there's a stream for today's match? Stoke are streaming it through their website for a fiver.

I've decided to learn nothing from experiencing the snorefest at Oldham and go today. Nice to see the option to add e-tickets to wallet has finally made it to my emails. Good to also see that Future Tickets are still providing that excellent attention to detail.

We had a technical director at one place I worked who was known as Sadim (i.e. Midas in reverse), because everything he touched turned to sh*t. If our ticketing supplier are ever looking for a rebrand, I'd suggest Sadim Ticketing would fit them very well.

To get you in the mood for County’s trip to the seaside next weekend, we’re taking a look back at last month’s Spanish jaunt today. Graham Hall, our Costa del Sol Hatter, shares the tale of his trip with us. Today’s edition also includes a load of photos from sunny Stockport, with County fans very much enjoying life back in League One. thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/pinatar-24-a-veterans-retrospective

The road to Wembley starts tonight but County could be turning off at the first exit if we end up playing a number of the kids. Although with all the injuries at the moment, and a trip to Blackpool on Saturday, that could be the pragmatic approach this evening. Indeed, our County correspondents aren’t too confident ahead of tonight’s visit from our Championship opponents. Russ Johnson, Nick Lee, Ian Brown and Dave Marchbank offer their predictions. thescarfmyfatherwore.substack.com/p/county-v-blackburn
