Does anyone know if the NCP discount is continuing at the station car park? The trial was originally said to last until the end of 2022. Cheers.

Can anyone on here help me navigate through the maze of Stockport Council? I got a parking ticket on Dale Street a couple of games ago, in a place I always park. I believe it's just outside Resident's Parking Zone 4 and the blokes who issue the tickets have confirmed in the past that it's OK to park there. I therefore put it down to an error on behalf of a new kid on the block and sent in an appeal. That appeal has now been rejected, which was a surprise. I plan to take it further, but I need to find a map that shows the limits of the restricted zone so I can be sure if I'm in the right or not. There doesn't seem to be anything on line, so I've emailed the parking wallahs at the Council to ask about getting or viewing the maps. They only promise an answer within ten days, which could be the difference between me pursuing my appeal or paying £70. If anyone can direct me to the right place to access the maps, I can either appeal or pay up and get on with my life.

Every car on that road got a ticket no matter if you were past the limit or not. We were parked where the barriers are at the entrance/exit to the park. My grandad has parked on that road for years and never had a problem but before I could look into what I could do he had already paid it. Definitely a warden error though as I said before every car on the road (about 15 cars) got a ticket no matter what side of the permit sign they were on. Hope you get it sorted

Hope you get it sorted I spoke to a chap who may have been your grandfather when we got back from the ground, he was busily taking photo's of the scene so he could appeal. Speaking to him again before the next match, when as usual we *didn't* get a yellow peril, he said he'd paid the £35 fine because he dreaded his wife finding out that he'd got a ticket! 😀

I parked on Mountfield road recently opposite the Wycliffe but saw a warden and moved on. Again, it wasn't obvious where the zone boundaries are and I wasn't parked outside someone's property.

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone knows where the zone boundaries are. I base this on: 1. Parking in the same place umpteen times and *not* getting a ticket 2. Asking Traffic Wardens who are dishing out tickets a few yards further up the road if "our" spot is OK and being told it is 3. Being given a ticket by a different Traffic Warden in the exact same spot 4. Having an appeal rejected despite sending pictures of the signs which seem clear enough. I'm getting a bit Victor Meldrew over this but my dodgy ankle means parking as close as possible to EP is important and the spot in question is ideal. There's an option for a further appeal but I have to wait for another letter from the council before I can start it.

Are you sure the sign you are referring to is at the actual boundary of the zone as I know if walk in from the Adswood road side there are signs on the outer boundary but they are also placed further in the zone. So it is possible to park just beyond a sign but still be within the zone if you have missed the other sign. Hope that makes senses, do agree that a definition of the zone would be helpful. Have you tried to ask a local councillor ?

I *think* the sign is a boundary sign, because those within the zone are different, but obviously this saga has shaken my belief, hence trying to get a look at a definitive map. Good idea about asking a councillor, if I don't get any joy from my request to the council, I'll give that a try. Here's a very poor picture of what I think is a boundary sign, I don't have a picture of one from inside the zone yet but I'll get one on Saturday.

I mean me and my mum use the disable parking but that's only for to go to Light Cinema but they've introduced a 4-hour limit for those going to the cinema as many films nowadays are 2+hrs like Avatar and Babylon were over 3hrs which is handy but I'm not sure why the disabled parking isn't allowed like that either

I hope I'm not boring everyone with this, but here goes anyway... Looking on Google maps turned out to be a double-edged sword. On the plus side, it shows that there was a "Zone Ends" sign on the lamp post across the road from where we parked. Happy days, JKB leaves court an innocent man with no stain on his character. On the minus side, I don't think that sign is there any more, so perhaps something has changed. More investigation required on Saturday.

From the other side, showing what I believe to be boundary signs, although I don't think the one on the right is there now:

Finally, for the time being, a sign from *inside* the zone, quite different from the boundary signs:
